The Holy War Made by King Shaddai Upon Diabolus, or, The Losing and Taking Again of the Town of Mansoul is a 1682 novel by John Bunyan. O Peregrino inicia com um poema no qual descreve os motivos para a obra e a razão de usar formas alegóricas (semelhante aos autos do teatro medieval) para contar a aventura do viajante que se encontra com personagens de carne e osso, mas que possuem nomes simbólicos que remetem ao evangelho de Jesus Cristo, como Evangelista, Adulação, Malicia, Apoliom e Vigilância.
