Over 100 types of PN have been identified, according to medical research organizations. This demonstrates the fact that each person will experience the physical results of damaged or diseased nerves, differently than do their fellow patients. Some people feel more of the burning sensation while others may feel very strong tingling that literally feels as if a colony of ants are stinging them simultaneously on their feet and/or legs. Hyperthyroidism is a term that simply means a person has developed an overactive thyroid gland. The content of this book is the story about a personal struggle experienced by a man who has for obvious reasons requested to remain anonymous, but who suffered a very serious obsessive compulsive disorder for many years of his life, involving the area of sexual exhibitionism and addiction to pornography. I highly commend this man of Christian faith, for allowing others to understand and to learn from his experience, in spite of the anguish and guilt it caused him for many years of his life.
