This volume of short essays and other pieces by C.S. Lewis is part of a larger collection: C.S. Lewis: Essay Collection and Other Short Pieces. In addition to his many books, letters, and poems,C.S. Lewis wrote a great number of essays and shorter pieces on various subjects. He wrote extensively on Christian theology and the defense of faith but also on ethical issues and the nature of literature and storytelling. Clive Staples Lewis (November 29, 1898 - November 22, 1963), born in Belfast, Ireland, was a British writer, literary scholar, and Anglican lay theologian. He held academic positions in English literature at both Magdalen College, Oxford, and Magdalene College, Cambridge. He is best known as the author of The Chronicles of Narnia and The Screwtape Letters. The following recording is a discussion on prayer, God and Christianity.
