Joining us at Audible Studios is award winning comedian, presenter, actor and author Russell Kane, who has just released his book, The Son of a Silverback. Kane was born in London and was brought up in Essex. He initially worked as an advertising copywriter but went on to pursue a career in comedy and in 2004 won the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year. In August 2006 Kane performed his debut comedy show at the Edinburgh Fringe, entitled The Theory of Pretension. He has hosted Big Brother's Big Mouth as well as a show on Q Radio.

Goldsmith is mixed-race and was raised in London in the 1950s by a single white mother. Goldsmith was the first female - and only ever woman of colour - to be elected to the University of Leicester students' union. She founded Anona Development Consultancy in 1995, for which she works as an energiser, motivator and strategist in the not-for-profit sector. Goldsmith has worked with more than 100 different groups and organisations over five continents.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest book, In Strictest Confidence, is dancer, choreographer and theatre director Craig Revel-Horwood. Best known as a judge on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, Craig Revel-Horwood has had an illustrious career across stage and television. Publishing his first autobiography in 2008 and a second in 2013, Revel-Horwood has now published the third installment of his autobiography, In Strictest Confidence - the first available in audio!

As part of Audible Listening Club, writer, editor and TED speaker Ann Morgan was joined in discussion by Audible members to chat about her audiobook Beside Myself. Members put their thoughts and questions to Ann about the book in this live event at Audible Studios. Bardugo is best known for creating the Grishaverse, a world in which several of her book series are set, the Shadow and Bone trilogy and the duology, Six of Crows among others. Bardugo has also written short stories, and her first adult fiction title was The Ninth House, which tells of the secret societies in Yale, the university Bardugo herself attended to gain her English degree. Bardugo's novel Hell Bent is the second book based at Yale university, and again follows protagonist Alex Stern, who gained her place at Yale with the help of a mysterious benefactor.

Joining us at Audible Studios is best-selling author Lucy Dawson, who has just released her 10th novel, Don't Ever Tell. Lucy gained a degree in psychology from the University of Warwick, and went on to work as a journalist, interviewing the likes of Steps, S Club 7 and Britney Spears, and has previously worked as an editor of a children's magazine. Deciding that her degree wasn't being put to much use, Dawson decided to give psychological suspense a go and has never looked back.

Known for his roles in Coming Of Age and Hollyoaks, as well as regularly appearing in pantomimes across the country, Tracini is well loved. When Coronavirus and lockdown hit, Tracini began making videos documenting his journey with Borderline Personality Disorder. Using comedy to portray the difficulties he suffers has enabled him to reach a wide audience with his message. And the main issue he addressed? How to not kill himself. Suicidal thoughts are something Tracini lives with every day, and so, on to the next way of ensuring he stays alive: write a book about it!

Joining us at Audible Studios is Rosie Jones, British stand-up comedian, screen writer and children’s author. Having begun her career as a junior researcher for comedy panel shows, Jones realised she wanted to be the one telling the jokes, not just writing them. A couple of years on, and Jones is a regular on shows such as The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and across BBC Radio 4. Jones writes for sitcoms such as Netflix's Sex Education and launched her own podcast called Daddy Look at Me.

Guy Gunaratne, award-winning designer, documentary filmmaker, video journalist and cofounder of CODOC and Storygami, talks to us about the release of their debut audiobook, In Our Mad and Furious City. Singled out by the Guardian as one of its Fresh Voices: 50 Writers to Read Now, Guy’s blistering first novel opens a window into the lives of three young boys living on a London housing estate and riding the current wave of radicalism, terrorism and social division.

Chef and blogger Anthony Warner talks to Audible about the myths behind the fad diets, why we're drawn to fads in the first place and the dangers of restricting what you eat.
