Kate Williams talks to us about her protagonist Celia, female entrepreneurs of the 1930s and what we can expect from her next.

Doctor, journalist and author Rachel Clarke joins Audible Studios to discuss her semiautobiographical audiobook, Your Life in My Hands. A poignant and honest depiction of the daily challenges faced by junior doctors on the NHS front line, the audiobook has been praised and applauded by the likes of Jon Snow, Alastair Campbell and Professor Neena Modi. In this interview, Rachel addresses the difficult working conditions she’s had to endure as an NHS doctor, the overcrowding and underfunding of the institution she dedicates her life to and her hopes for a future in which the National Health Service stands strong once again.

Joining us at the Audible Studios is veterinary surgeon and presenter Noel Fitzpatrick. Perhaps better known as the Supervet, he has now penned an autobiography - Listening to the Animals: Becoming the Supervet. He speaks to us about his memoir, which shows his journey to becoming the Supervet from the very beginning. We see every twist and turn on his route to Surrey and opening his world-renowned veterinary practice, his extremely successful television show, The Supervet, and the personal experiences that come alongside working with sick and injured animals.

Rinder was called to the Bar in 2001, beginning a pupillage at 2 Paper Buildings before moving to 2 Hare Court as a criminal barrister. Rinder has worked on cases from fraud to murder, and money laundering to political corruption. Having approached ITV with a television script, written in his spare time, he was asked instead to be the face of a British Judge Judy-esque show, thus Judge Rinder was born.

Author of the New York Times best-selling Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy and National Book Award finalist Laini Taylor is a master of young adult fantasy. Following on from Strange the Dreamer, Laini has now published its sequel, Muse of Nightmares, released in October 2018. Laini Taylor talks to us about the protagonists in her new book, how much emphasis she puts on world building and whether or not she actually enjoys writing.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Ransom Riggs, the author of the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series, to speak to us about the newest installment in the series: A Map of Days. This book, the fourth in the series, tells of Jacob and his friends back in Florida, exploring the legacy of Abe, Jacob’s grandfather. Joining us at Audible Studios is performance artist, writer and theatre maker, Travis Alabanza. Following the incredible success of their award-winning debut work, Burgerz, Alabanza has continued to create performance and discourse about trans and black identities. Their theatre show Overflow, which premiered at The Bush theatre, was shortlisted for the George Devine Award, and has been met with critical acclaim. Their writing appears in The Guardian and Vice, and has been published in anthologies such as Black and Gay in the UK.

Born in London and trained at Lamda, Joseph's acting career began in the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has appeared regularly on television in shows such as Peep Show, Timeless and BBC drama Vigil, and on the big screen in movies such as Æon Flux and The Beach. Joseph wrote and performed in a one man play, titled Sancho: An Act of Remembrance. Now, he has been looking more deeply at the life of Charles Ignatius Sancho, the first Black person to vote in Britain, publishing a novel about his life.

Ant and Dec met on CBBC's Byker Grove and an instant friendship was formed, on and off screen. They moved from acting to music, releasing three albums as PJ & Duncan, including their still popular hit, 'Let's Get Ready to Rhumble'. From there, presenting children's TV with shows such as SMTV and Gimme 5 was the next step in their journey towards international renown. Next came primetime slots, with the duo presenting shows such as Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Britain's Got Talent and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Glover worked her way through the ranks of BBC Radio, starting as a filing clerk, and becoming the presenter of The Listening Project for BBC Radio 4 and My Perfect Country for the BBC World Service, besides many other award-winning projects. Garvey spent a lot of her career on BBC Radio 5 Live, being the first voice heard on the station when it launched at 5am in 1994. She presented some of its main shows such as Midday and Drive, going on to host BBC Radio 4's prestigious Women's Hour.

Giedroyc grew up in Leatherhead and attended Trinity College, Cambridge, becoming a member of the Footlights comedy club. Starting her career alongside Sue Perkins, the duo became the household names of Mel and Sue, known for their baking puns as presenters of The Great British Bake Off, following their stint presenting Light Lunch.

Thurlow was born and raised in Scotland and is a former Miss Edinburgh winner. After attending university in England and leaving with a First, Thurlow worked for four years with the Halo Trust in Explosive Ordnance Disposal: locating, de-arming and removing landmines that put lives and livelihoods at risk in former war zones. Thurlow found the work began to take a toll on her health and took a step back. At which point, she was approached to be a contestant on the reality TV show Love Island.

Some difficult times through his childhood in South Africa did nothing to diminish Johannes Radebe's shine. Radebe has now penned his first memoir, Jojo: Finally Home, which documents some of the difficulties he faced growing up and how he got through it. We'll be talking to him about the support and care he got from the women in his life, the way homophobia has affected him, and his passion for dance and the solace it has provided. And of course, we’ll be talking about Strictly.

Joining us at Audible Studios is British racing driver Jenson Button, who won the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship. Button began racing at the age of eight, when his dad bought him his first kart, and he entered Formula 1 in 2000. As with the career of any F1 driver, there are ups and downs due to car issues and failures, but Button was on his way up. In 2009, Button won the Formula 1 World Championship, and at every race along the way, his father was there cheering him on.

Miller played the lead role in Death in Paradise before leaving to spend more time with his family. Beyond television, Miller has acted in films such as Johnny English (2003) and its sequel, Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism (2014), and on stage in The Ladykillers (2011) and The Duck House. His directorial debut was the film Huge. We'll be chatting to Ben Miller about his book The Boy Who Made the World Disappear, his partnership with Alexander Armstrong and what he would put into a black hole.

The Beekeeper of Aleppo tells the story of Nuri, a beekeeper, and Afra an artist, who are warmly surrounded by friends and family in the beautiful city of Aleppo in Syria. Their world changes in an instant when war destroys everything they've known and loved and serves them unendurable heartbreak. In this interview we spoke about Lefteri's experiences in refugee camps in Athens, how these weighed on her, and thus her motivations for writing The Beekeeper of Aleppo. We also spoke about learning about beekeeping, PTSD and asylum.
