About this listen

Astrid continues her battle with the Corruption and betrayal that is engulfing Rebirth.

Monsters, the Order, and invaders from the vast space above threaten the destruction of the world. Left without options, Astrid's only remaining method is to destroy everything in her path if she wants her family to make it to the end.

Astrid will power-up, gain mighty upgrades to her current abilities, and put a stop to the evil that plagues Ruitera—or die trying.

The end is nigh, but for Astrid, it is merely just the beginning of her otherworldly supremacy.

Book three of an action-packed and often hilarious LitRPG apocalypse series about a young survivor with a craving for adventure and fighting. Perfect for fans of Azarinth Healer and Eight.

Nice story but

its got so serious editing issues, repeated sentences, a 20 minute chunk repeated later on, a couple of mistakes with character relationships, hopefully it gets fixed, but like I said good story all that aside

Decent, needs an editor or two

Overall i think this series story is worth a listen if you are an avid LitRPG listener, i really liked the first book but i don't think the series handled the growing power of the characters well there is just to much special everything and really nothing but deus ex machina to get there. The series is still decent but it could have been excellent.

This book really needed an editor, the continuous occurrence of two sentences stating the same thing aswell as overly repetitive diction makes this clear. The main character does not need to spit every second sentence out, and we the listener absolutely don't need to be told every single time. sometimes the words of the character carry all the meaning we need. Also consider using something other than time to indicate that something is happening very fast, expressions like "in mere seconds" does not work in literature about super beings and to be frank in actual normal human combat or sparring, seconds is still kinda slow in most situations.

Still like the series

First, I do like the series and narrator. Enjoyed most the book. Sadly I wish I'd read it instead.
Nothing against the narrator but the sound editing makes for long awkward pauses after each line and sometimes mid sentence. Even at 1.10x speed.

Next while the first half was fine the second half had series editing errors. Like the MC never picks her 2k intelligence milestone ability. Even though she should unlocked it. Then stuff like someone is dead and traitor one chapter then alive and an ally later. Got people saying years happened then it was just a month. Freya calling her cousin "brother" and a host of repeated lines put before and after lines.

It almost felt like the author or editor didnt care toward the end and wanted to rush it. From the final 3rd is done felt like the author was bored of the series or something.

So while I like the series and first half, the second half gave me real doubts.
