Living the Story
I have never heard my day to day, month to month life verbalized by someone other then myself.
I have listened to most chapters multiple times. In the last month. It’s sad, scary and the life some of us (while raising children) live.

Best Narcissist book so far!
Not only was this the best book explaining narcissistic abuse, but it was a great read! It helped me so much in a time when i was going thru an extremely hard moment in life. It was so great i listened to it twice. 5 stars!

Must read if are/were in such a relationship!!
I swear she was writing my life!! I could resonate with over 90% of the words in this book!! I couldn’t believe how much of my life was impacted by such dysfunction of another’s personality disorder. I knew something wasn’t right, I just couldn’t make sense of it until now. This book should mandatory for anyone who’s spouse is/was a narcissist!! You will understand your past life so much better and heal so much quicker!

Hands down, the best audiobook on healing
Wow! This audiobook speaks to me in so many ways. I have gone round and round with a covert passive aggressive narcissist. Because I am a caretaker, I have allowed the 72 (more or less) breakups to happen - and then get back together because I thought there was too much to save in the relationship. Hell no more! This audiobook makes so much sense in helping to understand the whole narcissistic relationship, and great exercises to reduce anxiety, grab yourself up by your bootstraps - and move on once and for all. I have read so many books on this subject, but hands down...this one wins. I"m sure I'll listen to it again and again.....Thank you Margalis! Onward and Upward!

Amazing insight, guidance, and tools
This book has helped me to understand who I am and why I ended up in the relationship I did. Going through a divorce after 16 years yet hopeful I am healing and moving forward. I still hold myself accountable for my own actions and getting into the relationship to begin with. However, this book helps give you clarity and useful tools from beginning to end! It’s golden!

This is the ammunition you need
I was in a long-term relationship with one. I didn't know it until I listened to this. Not only are the hallmarks of a narcissist easily and accessibly explained (and it's absolutely alarming how "textbook" it will all seem), but the healing process is mapped out. The tools you'll receive from this book are necessary—not just to reclaim your sanity, but your sense of self.
The lack of intimacy, the push/pull, the devaluing, and inevitable discarding. It was all here, but there is so much more. This book invites you to find your own instincts again, to love yourself for who you are, to celebrate your value and to respect yourself. It helps you understand the external barrage from the narcissist, helps you evaluate your own obsessive thoughts and panic reactions, and turns your focus to something much more essential and worthy (and something you've forgotten in all of this)—you.
I'm very early in the process, and I'm still a ball of fear, anxiety, and pain. But now I have hope that I can draw my own boundaries, trust my own gut, be my own caretaker, and find the other side.
Please give this book a chance. You deserve it.
