Quite Informative and Insightful.

Being someone who has struggled to come out from an Emotionally Abusive marriage I found this quite handy.
My childhood was largely marked by a narcissistic mum and in my my mid twenties I bagged myself a narcissist of a man.
This audio book has elaborated deeply ways of how I can cope and recover from years of narcissistic abuse. As someone who has suffered from codependent habits too and learning to detach, trust and love myself more I found this helpful.

I would highly recommend this to any one who has been a victim of Narcissistic Abuse ,Codependency ,Gaslighting or Complex PTSD to help with recovery which is a process and it can be overwhelming when you think about all the changes you have to make. It's also good to mention that finding a book compiling all the recovery processes for some common four major conditions was quite a relief. Good narration too. Worth listening to.

Excellent Narcissistic Abuse Healing Guide

I had a very close friend who was a narcissist and it was so painful and confusing for me because I had no idea how to deal with it. Ms. Linda Hill discussed the red flags that you encounter and how to effectively protect yourself.

This book has helped me to easily recognize narcissistic abuse and it has given me the tools that I need to effectively stop it. I especially liked Chapter 2, where I learned that asking for a narcissists’ advice is a good strategy when a narcissist wants to argue nonstop.

After listening to this book I realized that one of the best ways to prevent myself from suffering from complex PTSD is just to cut off a narcissist even if it’s a very close friend. Undoubtedly the narcissist will begin gaslighting me because they refuse to take personal responsibility for their actions. This book has helped me to realize that it is best to protect my personal well being even if it means I should end a close friendship that is toxic.

Excellent recovery resource

Recovering from narcissistic abuse, gaslighting, codependency and complex PTSD is very difficult and this book is an excellent resource to help you do that. It breaks down abuse and PTSD and helps you understand the ways you can prevent and recover from it. Although the topics are very different they often go hand in hand so it’s great to dig deep to the core of the problem using these workbooks. Wonderful recovery tool! I definitely recommend this book to help in your recovery journey.

how it seamed like that author or therapist is able to see both the narcissistic for who they are

to see both the narcissistic for who they are and how they were really able to disect the narcissistic and give a better understanding of the word itself and the way it was so easy to say things like you should be mad bec it's right and they traumatized their own families, seeing and believing are 2 different things

Excellent Guide to Recovery from Trauma

This is a comprehensive guide to recovery from narcissistic abuse, codependency, gaslighting and complex ptsd. Using layperson’s language, it deftly explores the connections between these conditions, which are routed in narcissistic personality disorder. Ms. Hill's workbook teaches readers how to identify toxic relationships -- and most importantly, expertly imparts the tools they need to free themselves from the tyranny of narcissistic abuse. In particular, the book focuses on the myriad gaslighting techniques narcissists most commonly use to encourage codependency in their loved ones. It provides readers with useful, practical strategies for recognizing and overcoming gaslighting, along with the PTSD that invariably accompanies it. Those seeking relief from narcissistic abuse will find this to be a healing, encouraging and inspiring listen. The tone of the narration is soothing and appropriate to the subject matter. Highly recommended.

This deserves an award

I needed to hear the thing’s that were said in this audio regarding the topic’s “Narcissistic abuse" "codependency" "gaslighting" and "complex ptsd". I have been meeting and dating lots of narcissistic people over the past couple of year’s and my last encounter actually left me traumatized because I didn’t know what to do or say and eventually it got pretty bad. I am grateful for people like this who write books and make audio’s for self help guidance because in today’s society it’s a little hard to find. I never knew how toxic and emotionally draining someone could actually be until I’ve personally experienced these thing’s and this audio give’s me a lot of clarity. Thank you!

Excellent book

Easy to read. The four books were nicely organized. These sensitive topics were normalized in a beautiful nonjudgmental way. I appreciated the practical exercises.

Phenomenal

I had to stop several times and really sit and think about what the author is saying and how those concepts, trauma attributes and scenarios, and healing and coping methods are a mirror to my own journey. This is a rich resource that I will come back to many times to go deeper.
