Mindblowing!
I have heard a lot about the benefits of techniques such as yoga, deep breathing, meditation, etc. But this is the first book I have read that explains some of the science and neuroscience behind why they work! This book explains how the vagus nerve is activated by these activities and helps suppress the stress response.
