Clearer Focus

After listening to this book, it feels like you understand yourself better. You see why things have been so tough and realize that it is not about trying harder. This book checked so many boxes!

I found this book very validating regarding the behaviors and challenges faced by the adults in my life who have ADHD. Although I do not have ADHD, becoming aware of the drivers behind certain behaviors and how to navigate them was extremely important. I have more empathy and understanding as the author provided recommendations for behaviors I've observed. This is a great book for adults who have ADHD, but it is also an important resource for those living with adults with ADHD to mitigate their frustration. I would also recommend this book to educators in adult learning environments as a resource to coach ADHD students on concentration, organization and focus strategies.

Practical & easy ways to cope with the chaos of ADHD

My husband was recently diagnosed with ADHD. I found this book to be extremely helpful in understanding his brain and how he functions. I love how this book provides practical and easy ways to cope and function in everyday life with ADHD. My favorite part of the book was how to organize your life room by room (bedroom and bathroom etc). The book even goes into detail on how to stop losing your car keys (a very common issue with my husband). I truly think every adult with ADHD should read this book. Highly recommend!
