Goldsmith is mixed-race and was raised in London in the 1950s by a single white mother. Goldsmith was the first female - and only ever woman of colour - to be elected to the University of Leicester students' union. She founded Anona Development Consultancy in 1995, for which she works as an energiser, motivator and strategist in the not-for-profit sector. No stranger to writing, Pattison's newest book is a memoir-meets-self-help title, The Secret to Happy. In it, she bares all with her now trademark honesty, candour and mission towards kindness. We caught up with Vicky Pattison to chat about how she manages her mental health, her break out of both reality TV and her comfort zone, and she told us her most valuable tips from her therapists.
