It is my intention, through the chapters of this audiobook, to inform listeners who experience these common but most-often benign palpitations, with facts, that can help them to better-cope with the concerning symptoms they may experience with these strange heartbeats.

Over 100 types of PN have been identified, according to medical research organizations. This demonstrates the fact that each person will experience the physical results of damaged or diseased nerves, differently than do their fellow patients. Some people feel more of the burning sensation while others may feel very strong tingling that literally feels as if a colony of ants are stinging them simultaneously on their feet and/or legs. Some PN patients are affected exclusively within their feet and they may experience not only tingling and burning sensations within them but they may also feel stabbing pains as well.

There are many diseases that affect thyroid function, including those that cause hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid swelling (goiter), tumors in the gland (nodules), thyroid eye disease and thyroid cancer. This book looks at these conditions of thyroid dysfunction in some detail and the diseases that cause them including thyroid autoimmunity.

The debate over whether or not a person who has received salvation through Jesus Christ, can become lost again, has been around probably since the beginning of Christianity. It is a very difficult subject and one that contains some very unpleasant aspects and many pastors and preachers choose to bypass the subject for this very reason. This is my personal story regarding symptoms, diagnosis and treatment for autoimmune hypothyroidism caused by Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Adrenal Fatigue and other metabolic-related conditions that developed co-morbid to my thyroid disease. Hyperthyroidism is a term that simply means a person has developed an overactive thyroid gland. The metabolism of a person with hyperthyroidism is sped up from too much thyroid hormone in their system, so that everything in the body is running at overdrive. Most of the general population is not well informed about a common condition affecting the liver, that affects an estimated 29 million people in America alone. Covering the subject of hypothyroidism - an underactive thyroid gland - this book contains 17 chapters dedicated to the most common thyroid disorder that exists. All aspects regarding hypothyroid conditions are addressed in this resource, in easy-to-understand language. This book is approximately 12,192 words in length. The "Best Darn" reference in the title, is not to imply that this is an extensive medical journal but rather that the book contains all aspects of information on the subject that most laypersons would be seeking.

Mitral Valve Prolapse is a heart murmur found commonly in the general public and can cause heart palpitations, orthostatic hypotension (dizziness upon standing), other symptoms of an imbalanced nervous system and anxiety/panic symptoms. Medical Research studies have found it to be even more common in thyroid disease patients, especially those with autoimmune types of thyroid disorders. It is also believed to be about five times more common in females than in males.

Within the chapters of this book, I address the types of heart conditions or cardiac effects that thyroid diseases can have on those who experience them.
