Months after the untimely death of mafia-made man Vinnie Garlucci, his devoted wife, Carlita, discovers a mysterious key in one of his pockets while sorting through his belongings. The long-anticipated epic cruise adventure is finally here! Two worlds collide when Gloria and the Garden Girls meet up with Gloria's cousin, Assistant Cruise Director Millie Sanders, and her crew aboard the passenger cruise ship Siren of the Seas. Almost immediately, suspicions are raised when a group of mysterious passengers board and then head straight to the bridge for a private meeting with the captain. Not long after, Andy Walker, Millie's boss, tells her the ship will have some "temporary" staff boarding for this cruise, something that has never happened before.

Millie has her hands full when Andy, the Siren of the Seas’ cruise director, is forced to take an emergency medical leave. Having filled in for him before, Millie readily agrees, reasoning that it’s only for one voyage and what could possibly go wrong? Former reality television star, Harper Rothshield has skipped out of her rehab and convinced her boyfriend and friends to join her for a cruise on board Siren of the Seas. She vows to quit her bad habits and get her act together by going cold turkey.

Assistant Cruise Director Millie Sanders' day is off to a shockingly bad start when her boss “volunteers” her to be his guinea pig for a stun gun self-defense class in front of her fellow shipmates. Loyal to a fault, she agrees but almost immediately regrets her decision. Despite the fact that the Garlucci family was not even in Savannah at the time the victim was murdered, they can't prove it. The other members of SAS are convinced the Garlucci family murdered one of their own while Carlita is convinced that someone is trying to frame them. Can the mother / daughter duo figure out who the real killer is, or will the police dig into Carlita's past and discover that she has her own share of secrets she's trying desperately to leave behind?

A fresh wave of passengers have just boarded, and as the deck party gets into full swing, a frantic cry of man overboard is shouted over the loudspeakers. Millie rushes towards the crowd that has gathered on the portside upper deck and watches in horror as the ship's crew desperately tries to save a young man who has just gone over.

Carlita Garlucci is thrilled that her daughter-in-law and grandchildren have arrived in Savannah for their first visit. She secretly hopes that they will fall in love with the area and decide to move to the beautiful city, bringing her that much closer to fulfilling her late husband’s dying wish. The family is on their way and Carlita is anxiously awaiting their arrival when she receives an urgent phone call from her daughter, Mercedes, who is in the riverfront district, where she was planning to meet another author to discuss a cold case murder.

For Millie and the Siren of the Seas' crew members, the Southampton departure is bittersweet, as they leave behind new friends that they’ve made, including Halbert Pennyman, an area homeless man. Within hours of the ship leaving port to head back to Miami, the ship's chief of security discovers the Southampton Strangler could very well be on board. As disturbing events begin to unfold, Millie is convinced that not only is the strangler on board, but she's also managed to get on the killer’s radar.

Siren of the Seas has finally arrived in Southampton and love is in the air for one of the crew members as he arranges a rendezvous with his online girlfriend. Despite Millie’s concern over their date, he refuses to listen to her. Deciding it won’t hurt to check on him, Millie shows up during the date and witnesses something disturbing. Determined to help her friend and share what she knows, it backfires, and she is reprimanded and told to butt out.

Carlita Garlucci is thrilled that her son Tony has arrived in Savannah to help with the opening of their new pawnshop Savannah Swag. While giving her son a tour of the property, they stumble upon a hidden trapdoor that leads to an undiscovered basement with a tunnel. Curious to find out where the tunnel leads, Tony breaks through the wall and discovers underground passageways rumored to have been used by pirates to smuggle their stolen goods into the historic city.

With a fresh wave of passengers soon to board the Siren of the Seas, Assistant Cruise Director Millie Sanders is shocked when she discovers she has a new roommate and fit to be tied when she learns the new roommate is none other than Danielle Kneldon, her former charge and nemesis! Danielle’s first assignment is to ensure the ship's special "VIPs", a family that has won a cruise contest, have a wonderful, fun-filled vacation. Millie discovers her coworker has other plans, which includes searching the small island of Kiriban for a missing family and collecting a hefty reward.
