The reality is that God gave prominent roles to some Black people in the Bible, and there are tremendous lessons you and I can learn from what they did and how they lived. For these reasons; I have chosen to feature five of some of the most prominent Black people in the Bible for us to learn from in detail. This book explores the context in which they lived, the challenges they had to overcome, the contributions they made to the eternal plan of God, their success mindset and the lessons we can apply today.

The Bible is true when it says the borrower is the slave to the lender. When you are in debt it seems you don't have a life! I remember a time I was in debt to the tune of about $500,000! Today I have only 2% left (I know that too will vanish like the rest) - God is good. Ninety-nine percent of that debt was simply cancelled. Yes the process of coming out was painful, and yes it was not a walk in the park, but the word of God that He wants us to be lenders and not borrowers is true and He works to bring this to pass in Christ Jesus.

When we talk about money, there are two questions every Believer needs to answer: Does God want His children to be rich? What is the purpose of financial wealth? Thankfully both are answered in the scriptures. In regards to the first question 2 Corinthians 8 verse 9 says, "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."

In Isaiah chapter 53 verse 3 Jesus our Lord is described as despised and rejected, a man of sorrow and acquainted with grief. In Matthew chapter 14 the Bible says that when Jesus heard what happened - as in what happened to John the Baptist (was beheaded) he withdrew privately to a solitary place.

I was watching my daughter’s program called Don’t Judge Me I Am A Single Parent one evening as she interviewed a practicing social worker. The knowledgeable woman made a statement that startled me. The discussion was about those who had experienced abuse - she said “If you are a victim you never get over it”. I remember thinking - if that being the case how will that experience influence a person’s future i.e. marriage. Coincidentally just a few days after; I spoke to a friend who discussed some issues she was facing in her marriage.

Prayer changes situations! Prayer is the first key to changing our situation. You would be surprised how many people give doctors a chance and yet ignore the Creator of the doctors! God is extremely interested in your desire to have children. Trust God today! As a matter of fact God is more interested in godly offspring than you are. Therefore God is working through life's circumstances to bring about your desire for children!

Before we start listening to the main content of this audiobook, I want to read two scriptures. The first one is from 2 Timothy Chapter 3 and I am going to read a few verses from there.

The dictionary definition of peace and the Bible definition of peace differs considerably. The dictionary says peace is the absence of war but the Hebrew definition of peace means; to restore in the sense of replacing or providing what is needed in order to make someone or something whole and complete. My pastor once defined peace as not the absence of war but the calmness and confidence somebody experiences during a time of difficulty and trial.

My goal is fourfold: To make you understand that the thoughts of failure that go through your mind can be channelled into the springboard that enables success.

As a believer, there are two ways for a person to live; one is to do everything yourself/by your own power and the other way is to do things by completely relying on and functioning by his power that comes from the Holy Spirit.

I would really like us to meditate on these 21 Scriptures included in this audiobook; pray about them, and also begin to put them into practice. I am sure they will bring you into a better understanding of all you are in Christ Jesus.

I have put together Scriptures that I believe will help us learn and understand the true meaning of worship, as well as enable us to express our worship in a meaningful spirit filled manner.

Naturally speaking words are powerful. Words can produce emotions; thoughts; words produces pictures; words are the tools of communication; in fact we cannot exist without words. Words are what Adam used to name animals and the Bible says whatever he called every living creature that was its name. Enters God. Hebrews Chapter 11 verse two tells us that: By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
