About this listen

From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author Meghan Quinn comes a brand-new romantic comedy about a one-night stand gone completely wrong. Laugh-out-loud and steamy with a heart-stopping happily ever after.

I knocked up my best friend's sister.

Figured I would get straight to the point, because how it happened is a mere snippet of the story I have to tell. The real meat and potatoes is what happened after.

Let's start with how she decided to inform me and Pacey the news...together. Imagine that nightmare. I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist.

It wasn't pretty.

Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Given how much I've pined for the girl, you would think that wouldn't be a hardship. Wrong.

This is my one shot to win my teammate back. Pacey is the only family I've got, so hooking up with his sister isn't a mistake I can make twice...despite the fact that she's pregnant with my child.

But with every mood swing, every pair of pants that doesn't fit right, and every late night run to find the perfect donut, I'm finding it harder and harder not to fall for my best friend's little sister.

Especially when she kisses me....

Meghan Quinn is amazing at writing situational comedy with heart. I can't tell you how many times I actually laughed out loud at the sarcastic conversation that Ely and Penny had. the character development was perfect.
The narration was superb! Teddy H and Kelsey N made this story all the better!!

Sweet story and had me laughing! Loved it!

4.5-loved it stars!

Those Three Little Words by Meghan Quinn was such a fun read! It is a brother’s best friend story with an unexpected surprise and I devoured it! I love the beginning so much and Eli was the best! And Penny and Eli’s chemistry and connection was insane! Even as Eli tried to keep her at arm’s length, because of said best friend…but kind of late, right? Eli found Penny irresistible from the moment he met her, but she was off limits. Then on the night of his birthday, everything changes and lines are crossed, with consequences. Then their journey truly begins.

Eli is known to be the player of the team. Penny finds him extremely attractive, but not the settling type. But once they were living together, he was caring, protective and sweet. Not perfect, but any means, but more than she ever imagined. Penny in pregnancy mode was fun to read, but she was also determined, independent and adorable. They were determined to do this but had obstacles they had to face. Their story was a slow burn romance that was sweet, fun and such a delightful read!

Happy reading!

That narration though!!!

I’m a HUGE Meghan Quinn fan and for her first Duet Narration with Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton, they killed this. This is RomCom GOLD. This one cannot be missed. You don’t have to read the first in the series “Kiss and Don’t Tell” but you should because not only does it set up the characters for what I hope to be a long life of what is to come in this series, it is also incredibly written and performed.
Meghan Quinn is a rom com genius and I am so happy to be here for this audio journey and cannot wait for more.

Audio Perfection

I think this was by far Meghan’s funniest books yet. There were so many ridiculous moments weaved in with heated tension that you couldn’t not laugh. This book also had little angst like Meghan’s previous books so it was a win win all around.

Who doesn’t love a great hockey romance. Um I am a sucker for them add in a surprise baby and we have a great romance brewing. Eli is nothing like I expected. I mean yeah we knew he was a horny player but also he has a sweet side. He has some things from his past that makes him reluctant for those three little words, but he’s still a great guy. Penny is like the girl next door but a quirky, awkward hot mess. She was at times a little crazy but Eli was patient and let her get her crazy out.

The reason I think I loved this book so much was the narration. Duet narration is where it’s at. On top of that Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro were fantastic as Penny and Eli. They made this book that much better and funny. I loved the way their voices melded together for a perfect listen. I couldn’t get enough of this audio.

I am in this series for more Agitators and can’t wait for what Meghan comes up with next.

The forbidden love match...

This is the second book in the the Hockey series and it didn't disappoint.

The story of Penny Laws , Pacey's little sister, and Eli Hornsby causes a huge riff in the guys relationships and Hockey game. As Eli and Penny have to learn to traverse their new rolls in their relationship they create pleanty of angst and turmoil between each other.

I can't wait to see what Meghan cooks up for the next Hockey player!

So happy to be back with this team!

First things first, I fell in love with the guys on this hockey team in Kiss and Don’t Tell and I’m so excited to be back in their world. I just love all these guys so much and I’m definitely crossing my fingers for more.

I read this audio of this one and it was one of those audios that you just do not want to put down because the narration is so good, you just wanna keep it in your ears forever.

Now… as much as I adore Eli, Penny really toes the line between endearing quirky and annoying quirky. And, like, sure, she does spend a ton of this book pregnant, but, I don’t think it’s fair to fully blame her personality on the pregnancy. I just… I don’t know if Penny was for me.

I did however love watching Eli and Penny’s relationship develop. I love that they had these awkward moments, but also, sweet moments. Eli isn’t used to being loved and he isn’t necessarily sure he knows what it means, but with his friends behind him, he finally understands it and figures it out.

In true Meghan Quinn fashion, this book definitely delivers on being so funny and so much fun and I just cannot get enough of the Agitators!

Those Three Little Words

Those Three Little Words is the second book in The Vancouver Agitators series and is Eli Hornsby and Penny Lawes story.

Penny is Pacey Lawes' sister and he has told everyone handsoff his sister. A little alcohol changes everything! Eli and Penny got together and a whoops happened. Penny is now PG and Pacey isn’t happy. He lets Eli know he has to move in with Penny and take care of her.

Penny has Eli all turned around and I was very irritated with Penny. She acted like a lunatic and was vindictive at one point. Fortunately they both got their act together! And of course I fell in love with Those Three Little Words and Eli was my favorite of the two.

Meghan Quinn never disappoints me! I never thought I would find myself reading sports romances. Of course the story isn’t about sports, it's about romance.

Now I was fortunate enough to get to listen to the audio for this book. Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton of course did a great job! I think I could listen to Teddy Hamilton all day long….. He has a wow factor to his voice. His voice was perfect for Eli and Kelsey Navarro also did a great job for Penny’s voice! Teddy’s voice was more soothing just how I pictured Eli. It probably had more to do with each of their characters and remember where I said Penny acted like a lunatic well Kelsey was fantastic! Of course they both had a great fun book to narrate. Meghan Quinn I love your books and look forward to reading many more of your books!

I do think a narrator can make or break a book. I would give the audio for These Three Little Words 5 Stars as well as this author's work! I love it! Easily a 5 star read!
