About this listen

Regret, she's a snarky little bitch. I've tried several times to regret the events that took place on June 5, 2008, but for the life of me, I can't. I'd never regret the pain, the suffering, or the heartache because they ultimately led me to the place I am in now. And I can't regret the place I am in now. What I still can't figure out is this: How is it possible that the single worst day of my life inadvertently became the very best day?

Five years ago my life was irrevocably changed. Seventeen minutes was all it took - to lose my best friend, to lose the love of my life. Seventeen minutes was all it took for the seeds of hope - the seeds of my future - to be planted in the worst possible way.

Where We Belong

I have the tendency to only be able to listen to audios of books that I have previously read. I have to really enjoy the book in order to listen to the book, which limits the audios significantly. So, obviously, I really enjoyed the book Where We Belong by KL Grayson if I then downloaded and listened to the audio. What I hadn't expected was to love the audio more than the book! Samantha Prescott and Joe Arden did a phenomenal job of bringing Harlee and Tyson to life!!

I highly recommend this audio!

Gut-wrenchingly beautiful

Where We Belong was a gut-wrenching story about two soul mates finding their way back to one another. It was emotional and deep and beautifully written.

The narration was outstanding. The narrators had me feeling everything the book wanted me to feel. Arden and Prescott are now added to me slow growing "top narrators" list.

Not only did this book break out all the feels, it was engaging and kept me thinking just one more chapter.

Just okay..

I thought it started well but became repetitive and frustrating. There were so many moments of miscommunication between the main characters. The female narrator for the story was difficult to listen to. She sounded desperate no matter what the situation or scene of the story called for in that moment. Overall this was just okay for me.
