About this listen

A frozen lake…Cold-Blooded Murder.

A powerful man is found dead in his fish house on a frozen Minnesota lake, murdered, stabbed to death. His employees, family, and the local sheriff, all seem happy to have him gone - all except his personal assistant. With his death she is now forced to do something she thought she would never have to do, reveal secrets that will destroy the careers and lives of many - including a man set on being the next governor of the state.

Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Agent Danny Carlisle has been given the assignment, her first as a lead agent, and she and her partner soon find they have too many suspects and too little evidence. But someone is doing them a favor, narrowing down their list of suspects by killing them off. The snow and bodies in Duluth accumulate, and Carlisle's boss is pushing her to find who is doing the killing, someone who seems to know her every move.

Avoid virtual voice

I very much dislike virtual voice. The inflections are way off. I don’t like it .

voice isn't ready quite yet

disliked the AI voice, doesn't distinguish between male and female. should listen to Nora Nagle for training,/learning. it was ok, but only because it was free to listen. the story was great!

Interesting story!

Dislike the virtual voice and can't listen to most but this one isn't bad. A real human would be way better tho. The story was so good it made up for the artificial reading. I will look for more from this author

Hate virtual narration

Not a bad story buy ruined by the virtual narration. I would have enjoyed this title if it were read by a human vpice.

Computer voice blah

The story was good, but I found it difficult to follow sometimes as it was a canny computer type voice. Not enough time between scenes, a lack of inflection and no use of contractions made it seem like AI.

Story line is good

The narration is extremely poor. It sounds like a machine. Rather use people with emotions
