Safe Haven with Virtual Voice -try it on 1.2 speed

I loved this book as I love all of Danielle’s books. Laura and Cade bring their youthful infatuations full circle but before that happens there are major hurdles to overcome. One, she’s pregnant with another man’s baby. Two, someone is trying to kill her.

I love audiobooks, and was excited that Danielle finally started putting them out. Wait! They are narrated by virtual voice. I didn’t like it at first, but I upped the speed to 1.2 and the narration was almost human. Give it a try. I think I’ll buy some more of her audiobooks.

It was a good storyline.

Liked the storyline. What ruins this book is the virtual voice. It’s lacking proper inflection in the sentences. Just runs the dialect from one sentence to another without pause. You lose the flow of the story and have to replay a lot to realize who’s talking.

Good

Storyline was good and kept me engaged. The virtual voice wasn't unpleasant but with little to no emotion in the voice, it made some parts difficult to interpret which character was speaking. I would think with technology we should hear male & female voices more as a scene vs the monotone. Overall worth a listen for the authors sake.

Not a fan of virtual voice

I would have enjoyed listening to this book but with virtual voice it felt neutral throughout the whole story. I enjoyed the storyline.

Not what it seems

AI audio is not anything to write home about. No emotion and mispronounced words
