Publisher's summary

A groundbreaking approach to creating memorable messages that are easy to process, hard to forget, and impossible to ignore - using the latest in brain science

Audiences forget up to 90 percent of what you communicate. But people make decisions and act based on what they remember, so a pragmatic approach for the effective communicator is to be deliberate about the 10 percent that audiences do retain. Otherwise, content recall is random and inconsistent.

Many experts have offered techniques on how to improve your own memory, but not how to influence other people's memory. Drawing on the latest research in neuroscience and cognitive psychology, Impossible to Ignore is a practical step-by-step guide that will show you how to control the 10 percent that your audiences do remember by creating content that attracts attention, sharpens recall, and guides behavior toward a desired action.

Good content, author broke all their own rules making the content Impossible to Remember.

I really enjoyed the material, what I can retain of it at least, but the author completely botched the book by not applying most of the rules outlined in the book. Instead, we get a patchwork of ADD content all over the place, incongruent with the objective of the theme, making retrieval of key points difficult at best. The topics are very poorly organized and eclectic in outline make a dizzying patchwork of material, like a quilt without a pattern. It's quite sad as the material was generally good, but lack coherent organization to aide in retention. I wish I could give the book a better rating, but if I have to review content like this multiple times to retain the basics the author is attempting to instill, the author failed. I will move onto another author and skip other books by this one. My time is far too valuable to be wasted on on that can't organize thoughts on a topic about how to help audiences retain thoughts on a topic.
