Publisher's summary

This cruel king won’t stop until he breaks me.

Dutch Cross, lead singer of The Kings, is a monster.

Don’t let his amber eyes, chiseled jaw line, and crooning voice fool you.

He prowls the hallways of Redwood Prep like he owns every inch.

Brutal.

Untouchable.

Beast.

And when his golden eyes meet mine, I know I’m his next prey.

The monster wants me out of Redwood.

But the fancy private school is my last chance at a better life for my sister.

No one has ever dared to go against Dutch and his equally gorgeous brothers.

I’m honored to be the first.

See, the thing about kings and monsters is they always have a weakness.

And for Dutch, his weakness… is me.

He just doesn’t know it yet.

***

The Darkest Note is a one-couple romance between a cruel prince and a gifted musical prodigy. Also note, this saga contains strong bully themes. If you’re looking for an extreme enemies-to lovers, unapologetic alpha hero, high school rockstar romance, this is the book for you.

XOXO

Everything

I loved how the author made it so subtle that they are falling for each other I can’t wait to read the next book

It was pretty good.

I enjoyed it and finished it in two days. It was pretty cheesy but it was really good. So much drama and I wanna read more! It’s great!

Good story

Great storyline, I enjoyed this book. If you are looking for something more, adult, this isn't it. It's PG-13 at best, however it's still a good story.

Narration needs work

I enjoyed the overall story line. It was captivating and flowed well. What I couldn’t get passed is Johnny East monotone voice. It really made it difficult to continue listening. I couldn’t distinguish between the 3 male character or time breaks, it could use some work. Some live through the narration and others just read..this one sounded like he just read instead of living it. The female narrator was amazing. Love her work.
