Story
Behold the Multiverse! Its countless realms overflow with terrific opportunities and terrible dangers—warring sects, priceless treasures, martial techniques, and all manner of horrible monsters abound. And Dorian has conquered them all. He’s a Godking—one of the most powerful creatures to ever exist. And as he sits from his throne at the literal summit of the world, bored out of his mind, one question comes to mind: what now? Do it all again, of course! But faster.

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

Story
Sen never dreamed of ascension. Such were the aspirations of the rich young nobles, not orphans like him, scraping together a meager living on the streets of Orchard’s Reach. However, when destiny takes an unexpected turn, Sen finds himself thrust into the role of a cultivator’s disciple. Chosen over the nobles who once looked down on him, he is adopted into a makeshift family of three ancient cultivators, each with a lifetime of knowledge and insights. These old monsters will teach Sen everything they can, from the art of the jian and spear to the mysteries of arcane alchemy.

Story
When the cultivators came to Earth, they destroyed our entire civilization in a matter of hours. Armies fell, cities burned, and that was before the moon turned red and filled our world with monsters. Now, over a decade later, what's left of humanity slaves under the heels of our Qi-infused masters. The luckiest of us might even become one of them, they say—if we serve the Dynasty well enough and harness the power of Qi. But I want none of that. I'm sick of serving, and I want nothing to do with their world. Instead, I want them to pay for what they did to mine.

Who would have guessed that? When these cruel gods shuffled Earth like a deck of cards, nothing was in the same place anymore. Monsters, dungeons, and magical items appear scattered across the globe. Ashlock wakes in the courtyard of a demonic sect... as a tree. A tree that eats people. An odd start to a new life. Almost as strange as the humans flying through the skies on flaming swords and challenging the heavens. After all, this is a world where humans could chase the goal of immortality through the art of cultivation. But Ashlock is merely a sapling in a desolate courtyard, left alone with his thoughts and unable to speak to those passing him by. Unless he does something about it.

Publisher's summary
Dorian survived the desert by the skin of his teeth. Now he’s at the Oasis, a marvel of technology and magic ripe for the conquering. He plans to continue his speedrun, sucking the Oasis’ resources dry and going on his merry way.
THE MULTIVERSE HAS OTHER PLANS
The shadowy foe that Old Man Fate long warned of finally steps into the light, a foe powerful enough to threaten the very foundations of the Multiverse. A foe from Dorian’s past, of Dorian’s own making, who has come to seek revenge—first by taking over the realm. And then by exterminating him. Not if Dorian has anything to say about it.
Book two of this exciting LitRPG cultivation adventure about an ancient god who’s reached the apex of his power progression and has decided to reincarnate multiple times to try and speedrun the Dao and reach the peak of cultivation.

Story
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. But Mark isn't ready to give up yet.

Slip doesn’t buy it, though. The Sci-gods took everything from him. They dropped a bomb that reduced his home to waste, his family to dust, and left him broken with no hope for vengeance. Now he’s just a lone cyborg digging through scraps for his next meal. That changes when a rebel assassin stalks Slip, eager to unlock the untapped potential hidden deep within him—his unique connection to the A.I. in his head. Hannah has a routine. Wake up, take a shower, go to school, go to work, come home, and pass out. It's a perfectly normal routine for a perfectly normal girl who does not have to remember how her limbs work every morning because of haunting nightmares of being a very different creature in a very different world. That's all she thinks they are—nightmares—until one night, they're all too lucid, and her body on Earth starts to change. Slowly, Hannah's humanity starts to slip away... but surely she can continue just sticking to the routine, right? It'll be fine. It has to be.

Great contination to the story
The main antagonist is compelling and a great foil to Dorian's character. My only gripe with this book 2 is a HUGE spoiler. The ending. It was good, but a detail of it was... disappointing. Wish they would have lived. I won't say anymore.

Good stuff
In the last chapters the power scale and how the MC obtained the power felt a bit wishy washy, compared how the author wrote the story until then. At the end though I understood why and I liked his decision.
I enjoy the series and bought the next book in the installment

Might not finish this one
I believe it to be a good book but it's one thing to make your audience intentionally uncomfortable, but I've also been grimacing for nearly the whole first two hours. From depictions of young child dead and decaying, to children burying hundreds of bodies, to calling a sister a pet, then the constant sexual harassment that has happened so far upon entering the "oasis". I'm not ignorant of reality but I'm listening to fantasy/litrpg for escapism and power fantasy, not a reminder of how cruel the real world actually is and not how I felt when my three year old sister had cancer, beat it, then relapsed. If you can relate to this sentiment this book may not be for you, at least the beginning isn't. I'm writing this review very early but overall it won't be above a 4 whether I finish it or not.

Cultivation done right
This is a cultivation lit RPG. This one is executed with a sense of whimsy and a depth of character you do not normally see in the genre anymore. I would put this in the top 3 of cultivation, and top 10 of lit rpg in general. It’s worth the ride for sure. The narration of the guild master made me to an actual spit take at work. Big ol business 🤣
