About this listen

An arena so deadly only a handful of survivors exist across the span of untold millenniums? What’s that, you say? There’s a secret inside that could be the key to understanding Madra’s mysterious magic.

Bring. It. On!

Once more, Jiran dives headfirst into the pursuit of knowledge and power in a world stuck on hard mode. He’ll face beasts and challenges beyond his wildest nightmares, new races, and unexpected twists at every turn. Yet great danger is often accompanied by unimaginable opportunity, and if there's one thing Jiran’s good at, it's turning misfortune to his advantage. And this time, that advantage could very well change the empire forever.

Meanwhile, Mayalyn and Niya are racing toward threats far beyond their means. With his friends and family separated and vulnerable, Jiran will need every skill he's developed to have any chance of saving what matters most.

Unbeknownst to them all, ancient and catastrophic forces gather. Their goals are a mystery, and even their true names have been lost to the eons. With one wrong move, life as they know it could cease to exist.

But all is not lost. For Madra has never been keen on allowing her prized pets to stagnate. She’s got plans for Jiran, whether he likes it or not. Presented with a choice that will shape his future, Jiran will have only one chance to stack the deck in his favor. And if he’s clever enough, reforge the empire and his gathering allies into a power capable of standing against the coming storm.

Will Jiran’s new understanding of Madra’s magic give him the edge he needs, or will this be the last book in the series? Why wonder? Pick up book three, Rebirth of the Density God, and find out!

Awesome

Really good but sad that jiran crushed my dreams of him dating both the princess and mei-mei. joking aside the story introduced new powerful players and with them a glimpse of what jiran can become

Good book

This series is progressively getting better and better the longer it goes. You can tell the author is growing and really digging into the storyline. I can’t wait for the next one.

J.S. Arquin for the WIN🫡

This series is beginning to develop nicely. Arquin is a master at his craft enhancing this story & its characters. I am not a huge fan of the MC’s naïveté, but as the story progresses I am sure he will grow in maturity as well as power. A great listen worth your credit , ⏱️ and attention.

I love it, but waaaay too much lip service

It's all fantasy, but our MC creates some issues for the author.
He's too strong n too weak at the same time, and it makes his interactions with his peers weird. N the author spends waaaaay too much time n energy trying to talk up the value of the side characters ...who r like bugs compared to him.

It's all weird, but that's my only complaint. I like leveraging nerdy knowledge to be a more epic magic user. Overall, I like this series a lot. I'd highly recommend checking it out.

It keeps getting worst

How can it take you three minutes to explain that the main character moved from point A to point B in a room? Why is there so much monologue? It left like it took forever for the story to progress because of the excessive description and explanation of simply things and the constant monologuing.

Good but sorta annoying.

It's a fun story, but the super boss woman who has to keep the guys in line stereotype used for every single female character is starting to get pretty annoying. Not sure if I'll pick up the next one or not.
