About this listen

In the deepest black between galaxies, another enemy waits, and it is the only thing that can cause The Corruptor fear.

As the Realm grows around a Kingsport that is now more massive than any human creation, Dash will find common cause with a race who lurk in the shadows, well beyond the edge of known human space.

With ships of a new design, the Realm will turn outward, striking into territory long held by the Deepers and their unholy creatures, wrapped in technology as old as the stars themselves.

But the universe is shrinking, thanks to Realm scientists and the efforts of Kai and his brethren, who find that secrets still remain in the hidden places where humans store memory and history - and weapons.

Pursuing Pavel Hu into the darkness, Dash finds the truth about human history, and just what it means to end a war that has raged since before Earth was civilized, and when the sun itself was young.

The Deepers have nowhere to go but ahead, and in their way is the most powerful fleet ever assembled.

But in the final battle for galaxies far and wide, will Dash and his mechs be enough?

Entertaining Sci-Fi Original

I cruised through all the books as they were great listens. The characters were great, and each book had its own plot within a grander scheme.

The book is definitely original. I love the humor, the sci-fi, the tech, and the relationships between the characters, as they all seem to fit perfectly together.

Will you love this book? Well, there's only one way to find out!

What a great series, as you should already know

At this point, you should already know that this is a really good series of stories. I mean, you should have just finished 14 books. I just finished it for my second time through, and it still held my interest

The Messanger.

I'm kind of disappointed the weapon called "The Answer" This weapon should have been a nondisclosure standby. Yet once it was deployed, it did not provide the shock and awe that a weapon that could destroy the sector of space in which it engaged the foe.
The Singletary weapon seem to pale in comparison to "The Lens" It simply caused a star to emplode and then explode as a supernova given the Deepers were massing forces around a three star region of space that would have been The Solution...

The Answer?

I liked the whole series!!!! In the end… The Answer was underwhelming. The story took a turn I wasn’t expecting. When they realized the deeper we’re in the area where Dash found the mech and the Lens. This should have been a bigger part of the climax. I also recall there was a hint that there were other lenses and secrets of the unseen. . At one point it seemed like the story was coming full circle with the lens and other upgrades found at the place his mech was found. It’s like the forgot about the lens. Its use would have been more exciting. They could have explained that the lenses are part of “The end”… but regardless…. The description of the after effect once used was….meh! It should have destroyed at least one of the stars based on its description. Very underwhelming end. I loved this anyway but was hoping it was going to come close to the writing in Backyard starship, but it seems their collaboration is off. Jeffrey Kafer was awesome, but the writing didn’t give him a lot to work magic and some of the characters were hard to distinguish.

Love the final

I like how the other was able to keep the pace and expectation through this series with a good ending that was not the usual classical bitter sweet so many do. The voice acting was one of my favorite.
