Innovation is something that we all know that we want to have happen, but just exactly how to make it occur is what often eludes us. As the IT manager you are going to have to identify the innovation strategies that will work with your team and your IT department and then implement them.
It's possible that either innovation projects have been tried in the past and have not worked or, more likely, there is no innovation going on right now. It is your job to change this and make innovation take root and become part of everyone's daily routine.
