this really opened my eyes

I used to think I was just being too sensitive, but now I see what was really going on. Some people mess with your head so bad, you don’t even trust yourself anymore. I finally get how they do it, and I’m not falling for it anymore. I’ve learned to set boundaries without feeling bad about it, and honestly, it feels like a huge weight off my shoulders.

An injection of empowerment

What I like most about this book is that it helps you to clear up many doubts and false beliefs about what a narcissistic abuser is by explaining in an orderly and clear way how an abuser acts through the typical stages of the narcissistic abuse cycle and much more information that helps you to understand what a narcissist is, why they are one, how to detect them in your environment and how to distinguish the various types of narcissists. This book is a very extensive work that will help you understand why you are attracted to narcissists while teaching you how to put into practice various techniques that will help you to override their power over you and become more empowered by gaining confidence and independence. The narration is quite good. I recommend it.

Well written book

It's obvious from the get-go that this author has experience in dealing with narcissistic behavior. Gabriella does an amazing job of including Cycles in stages of experience in dealing with narcissism and how to overcome it.

I also think Caro Egan did a great job narrating the book.

Well done you too!
