This is different story from what I was expecting

This is a straight up magical fantasy story, and it's not until the third book that you get enough to start to get a handle of what it is. Lots of intense stuff in the third book.

great series but man did it jump the shark.

I really liked the whole charm thing causing the girls to realize their attraction and how they want to live their lives together.... but when all the magic and crazy stuff started to happen it kind of lost me. it was too. much too fast and it became way too crazy with the whole vampire thing and it was just too much. Also Emily got really annoying in this book. Overall still worth a listen. Even if it's still kinda hard to differentiate speech and thought in many places.

Good but too many things introduce and unanswer questions

before reading or listening be warned there are mention and discussion and situations involving SA.

after listening to the first three books I come to an conclusion that this is probably the best written however most annoying many of the characters grown you start seeing what the characters really need and you could tell like how much Brian means to them.
.

the most annoying thing is probably Emily! I will say this Emily is probably hands down the most annoying character even more than Chloe. and Chloe is annoying in that like character you love to hate or you just feel bad for or that like complicated stuff. her lack of everything it's just like yeah like it's even it's so bad that your other characters are like just stop they ignore her because it's that much better there is this character something bad happened to them everyone is troubled and Emily is like nonchalant about the whole situation and this happens constantly. Emily is just on her own stuff it doesn't matter about anything else I know I'm ranting about Emily but every scene like something Emily just annoys you.

fun twists and developments

this story has far less sex than the second story, but the character and plot advancements are amazing. Forty's writing makes you fall in love with these characters. I can't recommend this series enough!!!

loving this

I love this story and hope the next installment is soon. it's a very entertaining series even though Emily can be annoying at times. I hope we learn more about the whole background of the talisman and magic from Emily's mom.

I like the harem power.

I did not like powers were under valued and felt rushed. I felt their could have been more build up. I hope this series i hope there are more sequels. I feel this book series could atleast use 2 or 3 more sequels.

Great story

I love almost everything about this book. Great story great acting. The only thing that makes me crazy is having to wait for book 4. If it was out now I would spend real money instead of waiting for another credit next month. NO OTHER BOOK SERIES has made me want more that much.

Good series but man that ending

I really enjoyed the series, the ups and downs of it and I thought the narrators were really good but it didn't feel like it had a conclusion. it didn't feel like there was a concise ending. just kind of a nebulous "and then things happened."

there needs to be another book. this can't be the ending.

Better than it has any right to be.

I was fully prepared for this series to follow every conceivable harem trope, and I was totally down for it. was looking for something I could listen to on the periphery while doing other things, but then they went and threw a pretty decent little story into it. Characters are extremely well developed, to the point where it makes up the majority of the series, and then this last one starts opening up into something with quite a bit of potential, even the early stages of world building. If I have one complaint, while the narration is great, she reads several words phonetically. In each book there were 3-4 examples that are just enough to be jarring. She references a car's chassis, and says it as it's spelled. Not a huge problem, but maybe, if you're doing narration for a book, and they use a word you don't know, look up the correct pronunciation. Aside from that one thing, really enjoying the series.
