A veteran hunter. An unimaginable world filled with monsters and magic. Destiny awaits.
When fate brought me to the fantasy world of Aurilon, I thought I'd seen everything.
If I only knew how wrong I was.
Now, I’ve discovered monsters are real, they’re stunningly beautiful, and they need my help. In this world, men’s cores are cursed, preventing them from cultivating and achieving incredible power. Fortunately, I’m not from this world.
With several amazing monster girls at my side, I'll forge a new destiny and ascend to heights I’d only ever dreamed of. But first, I must create a safe haven in the wilds to protect those who have been hunted for far too long.
My greatest challenge lies ahead. Spirit to cultivate. Monster girls to rescue. Skills to increase. And a boatload of enemies to eliminate.
I’ve never come back from a hunt empty-handed, and I’m not about to start now.

This series follows an experienced hunter who ends up traveling to a new world which happens to be filled with all sorts of magical creatures, most of which are beautiful monster girls.
I loved the different personalities of each of the women, especially the cow girl, Chloe. She runs the tavern and just has one of those bartender personalities that makes you want to keep coming back.
Logan has his share of adventures throughout the series, saving women, bonding with them, and learning how to cultivate spirit to become stronger.
There are a few big baddies, ultimately leading up to a big showdown at the end. I think there’s a little something for everyone in this one.
The end wrapped it up nicely as well, so I felt good about it and really hope there is some way for the series to continue.
The narrators did a great job and kept me engaged the entire way through.
Wow - what an awesome ride!

I enjoyed the world that the author built with a ton of fun characters.
It is definitely for adults, but the steamy scenes did not take away from the interesting plot. In most cases they actually added to the story since the main character earns new skills or grows stronger with each one.
The action was great and many of the things people complained about in book one (too lenient or whatever) isn’t an issue later in the series.
I loved how all the women were able to stand on their own, and were each strong in their own areas, but complemented the main character well.
Definitely glad I gave this one a chance.
Fantastic

Story itself has a some serious issues. So you have powers... but somehow despite being more well equipped and having no real compelling reason to surrender, you should... surrender? Logic. And how the heck is it always one of your companions that says to trust them and you get into deeper crap and yet you keep doing what they say... when each and EVETY time it results in the mc suffering a crippling injury right off the bat when he could have just gone lethal and wrapped it up nice and quick? Wuxia cultivating nonsense isn't even an excuse - it's just bad writing.
And no, don't give me some gripe about how the villain in the first book is menacing. He is not. MC is just incompetent. "Well he's a dang menace but hopefully he's done for but I doubt it so no I shouldn't check despite having been a hunter and tracking prey to finish the job is literally what I'm supposed to be good at" or my favourite "Ladies we should never split up." followed by "I'll lead them away but it doesn't count as being split up because I got dainty damsel syndrome and despite my ability to detect ambushes I get ambushed and get brought back with a knife to my throat so we end up together so it doesn't count as splitting up"…?
Yeah. Issues.
Not so good.
