In this midweek tactical episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m walking you through how to make smart, meaningful adjustments to the goals you set on Sunday. Whether you're focusing on health and fitness or using this to build an inside/out lifestyle, the key is to observe where you are right now, compare it to where you thought you’d be, and decide if it’s time to adjust or keep coasting.

We’re not just talking about goal setting here... we’re talking about goal execution. I’m sharing how the YLF Framework helps you exceed your minimum daily actions, hit your weekly benchmarks, and build sustainable progress by focusing on real-time feedback and self-awareness. If you're tired of just consuming content and want to start applying it, this episode is for you.

In this episode, I’m talking about something that could completely change the way you see yourself—being your own body standard. You are not meant to measure yourself against anyone else, not against what’s on social media, not what’s in magazines, and definitely not the impossible standards the fitness industry throws at you. I want you to look in the mirror and actually love what you see—not when you reach a goal weight or hit some aesthetic milestone, but right now.

You’ve spent years, maybe decades, chasing a standard that was never designed for you to sustain. This episode walks you through the mindset shift of appreciating your body at every stage, understanding where external pressure comes from, and learning how to build a consistent lifestyle from a place of self-love. It’s not about settling—it’s about shifting. And once you do, everything else gets easier.

    Episode Description
In this episode, I’m talking about body dysmorphia and how easy it is to get stuck in a cycle where nothing ever feels like enough. I walk you through my own experiences with weight loss, body image, and the messages I internalized early on that shaped how I saw myself. If you've ever found yourself constantly striving to look a certain way and still feeling like it’s never good enough, this episode is for you. I share how I’ve shifted my approach from tearing myself apart to building myself up, using the inside/out mindset and minimum daily actions like mirror sessions and positive self-talk. This is not just about fitness. It’s about creating peace with who you are right now while working toward who you want to become.

In this Sunday episode, we are setting up the week by creating clear, achievable goals using the Your Level Fitness Framework. This approach helps you take everything you’ve done in the past—whether it’s last week, the last month, or your entire year—and use it to set realistic action-based goals you can exceed. We all like to think we’re logical with our goals, but without a structured plan, emotion can take over. This system keeps you grounded, focused, and ready to follow through. Whether you’re working on fitness, mindset, or personal growth, this goal-setting rhythm will help you build momentum and progress from the inside/out.

    Episode Description:
In this episode, I’m giving you a deeper look at what it’s really like living with cerebral palsy while building a sustainable health and fitness routine. I open up about the day-to-day physical challenges I face, how I’ve built structure around my pain and energy levels, and why self-acceptance from the inside/out is the foundation for everything I do. We talk about how therapy, body image, and marketing experience all come together to shape the Your Level Fitness message.

I also explain how documenting my work helps combat the feeling of “falling behind,” and why I believe the fitness industry needs a complete shift—from shame-driven marketing to teaching people how to build systems they actually enjoy. Whether you're navigating your own health journey or just curious how all the behind-the-scenes pieces come together, this episode is full of insight, honesty, and practical takeaways.

In this episode, I’m reminding you of something the world has tried to make you forget… you already have what you need inside you. The confidence. The belief. The curiosity. The drive. It’s all there. The problem is, we’ve been taught that in order to feel better about ourselves, we have to earn it through action or buy it through products. That’s not how it works.

You don’t have to wait to love yourself until you’ve done the thing. You can choose to believe in yourself first… and then take actions each day that reinforce that belief. That is the shift. That is what makes this an inside/out process.

I also talk about how Your Level Fitness is structured for you to go through it at your own pace. Whether you work with me directly or just use the blog, podcasts, or videos, the message stays the same… this is about you building something real and sustainable. Not just for now, but for life.

We’re not here to feed your insecurities. We’re here to remind you of your strength.

  • Realignment in Real Time
    May 14 2025

In this midweek episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I'm walking you through the importance of reassessing your weekly goals and checking in with how things are going so far. If your week started strong, great—keep the momentum going. But if it didn’t, this is your chance to make small adjustments without overhauling the goal itself.

When you’ve been doing this for a while, midweek adjustments become less about fixing problems and more about reinforcing progress. These goals are built around your capabilities and belief in yourself, not unrealistic expectations. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to keep showing up and adjusting as needed.

This approach supports your inside/out process, not just with fitness and nutrition but in how you connect with yourself and stay consistent in life. So take a few minutes today, step back, and see how you're doing. If it’s going well, keep going. If it’s off track, you’ve got time to shift. Either way, you're in control.

I’d love to hear how your week is going. Send your thoughts to daryl@yourlevelfitness.com.
