In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m diving deep into one of my biggest pet peeves in the fitness world, those blanket statements like “I’m here to inspire you” or “If I can do it, you can do it too.” While people usually mean well, these phrases often miss the mark because they ignore how different each of our journeys can be.

Your forever active lifestyle is supposed to fit you, not someone else. That’s why it’s called your level fitness. I talk about how important it is to start exactly where you are, figure out where you’d like to go, and piece together your path one day at a time. I share how my early days working at a gym showed me the powerful shift that happens when people gain confidence in an area of life they never thought possible. When you experience progress, it changes not just your body but how you carry yourself and even how you see your potential in other parts of your life.

I’m reminding you that consistency already exists in your life, even if it’s not where you expect. Whether it’s brushing your teeth or sticking to your own shower schedule, you’re already showing up in ways that prove you can build habits. We explore how developing curiosity about your own fitness and eating habits, instead of guilt or comparison, leads to real and lasting change.

And I get honest about my own limits, like dealing with CP and fascia injuries, because there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. You’re allowed to do this at your level, even if that means you do things differently from everyone else. You should never feel guilty about food choices or about not being able to do what someone else does in the gym or on social media.

Ultimately, the inside/out process is about how you feel in your own head. It’s about calming anxiety, seeing your progress, and refusing to sell yourself short. Because the truth is, you don’t even know yet what you’re capable of achieving.

If you’re ready to get started, check out the links above. Whether you want to do this on your own using the blog and emails, or you’d like some extra help and coaching, I’ve got you covered. Thanks for listening, and remember, this is your journey, your level, and it all starts with taking that first step.
