After 6 workouts so far over 3 weeks (plus o two days a week of just plain cardio) I wanted to see if my 5k tome had come down. I haves shaved 4 minutes off my 5k time so far, and only had to do a few minutes over this 30 minute jog!

After a mild 1/2 day of skiing, this one was tough on the legs. I wasn’t too happy about the change on the last two sprints from 2 minute walk recoveries to jog recoveries; but I did it!!! I did like the change up of the music.

This 20 minute jog was exactly what I needed at this stage of my training.
It will interesting to see how much I improve the time we get a 20 minute jog.

My only recommendation is a little more warm up before the sprints start.

I found it to be easier than the first workout.
Having not done running in the past ten years, it was tough to distinguish between jog pace run pace and sprint pace.

It’s just what I needed, a good initial workout to build up to a 5k.
I’m 40 pounds overweight, have type II diabetes and ran a 5k in under 36 minutes before starting this program on 1/6/2019.
I plan to do another 5k in March. I’ll let you know.
This program went well I had to walk (vs the jogging cool down after the final two sprints)
