    For more information and gifs of the exercises, head to workoutadventureseries.com    Wizard’s Quest is a 25 minute run with exercises. Suggested location would be a park or neighborhood, somewhere you can run and then find a 6x6 space to do stationary exercises (sit-ups, mountain climbers, etc) WHAT YOU’LL NEED: a 6 sided rolling die and 4 small stones (or pebbles). Story: You are a wizard, apprenticed to a wise woman. You’ve been learning from her, living in a forest overflowing with magic. But there’s a darkness growing in the woods. You are helping her with a complex spell that uses elemental magic to “awaken the forest”. List of Exercises: Jog/Run/Walk Arm-circles Toe-touches Mountain climbers Fly-away push-ups Supermans Mission impossibles Burpees Sit-ups Plank

     

    This should be a good workout, even for those more experienced. If you are new to fitness, go easy and enter the exercises at whatever level feels safe and healthy.

  • Barbarian's Quest (cross-fit session)

    For more information and gifs of "workout moves" head here.    Barbarian’s Quest is a 28 minute cross-fit session (jumping jacks, burpees, push-ups, etc). Ideal space would be a 10x10 area, inside or outside. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: a 6-sided rolling die Story: You are a barbarian who’s been captured by Drek the Keeper, a dark-elf who runs blackmarket entertainment for the wealthy. She has thrown you into her “menagerie” where you’ll face 10 rounds of the most vicious monsters of her collection. To win freedom you must survive every round! List of Exercises: Round 1: stretches R2: jumping jacks or high knees R3: squats or front-leg lunges R4: push-ups vs spiderman push-ups R5: standard burpees R6: calf-raises or tricep-dips R7: plank vs wall-sits R8: one-legged push-ups or fly-away push-ups R9: sit-ups vs x-ups R10: mountain climbers, jumping jacks, squats, lunges, sit-ups, push-ups Ending: full-body burpees (with push-up and bottom and tuck-jump at the top) This should be an intense workout, even for those more experienced. If you are new to fitness, go easy and enter the exercises at whatever level feels safe and healthy.

  • Monk's Quest (run with exercises)

    For more information and gifs of "workout moves" head here.    Monk's Quest is a 30 minute run-with-exercises (sit-ups, jumping jacks, etc) adventure. The ideal space would be a park or neighborhood where you can jog and then find spaces for exercises. You'll need a 6-sided rolling die AND some ice water to start with! Story: You are a warrior monk who’s been sent on a mission: infiltrate the region of a local thug who’s new to the area and tell him to leave this land. You’ll jump a wall, deal with henchman, evade guards, and break into a great hall for the final showdown during this quest. You’ll also learn something about remaining centered in your strength through it all. List of Exercises: Jogging/Running Side-lunges with knee-ups Squats with front-kicks High-knees Jumping Jacks Sit-ups (standard, X-ups, Leg lifts, Russian twists) Mountain climbers Butt-kickers Push-ups (standard, Wide-arm, diamond) Side Shuffle This should be a good workout for those more experienced. If you are new to fitness, go easy and enter the exercises at whatever level feels safe and healthy.
