About this listen

Welcome to the city of Corvin!

Brought to you by Wizards of the Code! Player-versus-player combat is discouraged but not prohibited within the city walls. The City Guard will enforce order should any conflict get out of hand. Please do not attempt to harm the NPCs or face the wrath of the City Guard! The main square and cemetery are dedicated safe zones. Enjoy your visit!

After everything that has happened to him, Zee was looking forward to a little peace and quiet once he and his friends were behind the sheltering walls of Corvin. But, having been branded as one of OVR World Online's Most Wanted, that might have been a pipedream. The moment he shows his face, the gold rush begins, only in this case Zee is the gold.

To make matters worse, the clock is inexorably ticking down closer to New Year's Eve, when Avlin Deathstider's sadistic player-versus-player tournament, The Blunder Games, will be held. The event will be Zee's only shot to recover The First Player's Sword before it's auctioned off and likely beyond his reach forever.

Outnumbered, outgunned, under-leveled, and underpowered! Zee and his loyal friends had slim hope of pulling off their heist even before the Doctor delivered a disturbing revelation that might just tear the party apart.

Can Zee pull off the heist of the century with the deck so stacked against him?

Was really looking forward to the 3rd book. Even though the it was pretty good don’t know if I’ll listen if there are any more. There was a little to much political views and a bit ok wokeness. Like this genre to get away from RL have enough of it in reality

Not as good as

If you've listened to the first two books you should know what to expect. Book three does not disappoint as the stakes are raised with Zee trying to recover the First Players Sword. we get a larger view of the world and a heist worthy of Oceans 11. overall a fantastic addition to the series.

Ready Player One meets D&D

It's his book, but ideological and political views should be left out. Not a bad thing just a little jarring.

I like the series a lot in general. Listen to these types of books should be an enjoyable outlet and not a political outlet. I was a huge fan but personally I won’t be a listener going forward.

Keep political ideology out
