She knew that even excellent projects could be rejected based on these surmountable issues because those on the receiving end of proposals most often don’t have the time to walk writers through needed adjustments. The checklist Kracht has created helps writers make their manuscripts good to go. It offers short, easy-to-implement bites of advice, illustrated by inspiring - and cautionary - real-world examples.

Even experienced authors sometimes don't grasp the finer nuances of showing and telling. Fabulous instructions – – easy to follow
Meg Leader knows what she is talking about. She has been helping writers for decades to improve their work. Listen to her and learn
The “narrator” automaton that did the narration of this book was far better than most that I have encountered. It was a very enjoyable listen-– Even at the higher speed which I listen to my audibles.

Well written, voice fades
Book was great every part was helpful. On my second listening now. Virtual reader was better than some human readers lol it’s a little robotic at first but fades as you get used to it and sounds natural enough
