About this listen

The first of the trials was just the beginning.

The next ones are just as dangerous, but they come with an opportunity as well.

They’re all about leveling up, more than I ever thought possible. If I can help my women (and my monster dog) make it through, we'll unlock the keys to infinite Chi.

And we’ll have to, because the World Core has put together one final stage. It’s a tournament against the most powerful competitors left in the world.

It’ll take a miracle for us to get through. And even then, the prize the World Core has in mind for us at the end—well, let’s just say that even winning will come at a cost.

This is a western cultivation fantasy adventure with a definite sense of progression to OP, and GameLit/LitRPG elements.

Good ending

Really liked how this book ended the series. Would have loved another book with the final trial being as it was, but this was nice too

Epic Conclusion

What a series. Phenomenal from book 1 until the end. My only complaint would be that this final book felt like it was over to fast, but it was an amazing conclusion to this series.

great series

overall I really enjoyed this series. although I felt it kind of ended a little too fast for my liking it didn't seemed rush. if you enjoyed the previous two books you'll enjoy this one. in a perfect world I would really enjoy a side story from Humphreys perspective. I think it would be hilarious. just a suggestion. the narration was great. melanie is quickly becoming one of my favorite female narrators and tj was solid. I highly recommend this book and series.

Melanie Hastings knocks out of the park again

I know that the mail is the main narrator for this but really you got to give it to Melanie Hastings, her narration for the girls is just fantastic and I really wish she was just the main narrator for this.

Excellent end to an awesome trilogy!

The group is getting bigger and more powerful but their enemies are getting bigger and more powerful as well.
With the MCs merge power, he's able to share the powers of all his gals between them and himself.
We find out what happens at the end and why.
This is an amazing series!

Another awesome sequel

When it comes to a sequel, I am personally looking for everything that made the last book worth it and then some. In my opinion that is this book. If you've already listened to books one and two, then you know what to expect and if you are new to this series then I've put my book 1 review below so that you know what you're getting into. I have enjoyed several other stories from this author. One of my other favorite ones is the “Survivors” series which I highly recommend you check it out. Or the author has just started a new one called “Arcane Academy for The Gifted.” Lastly, I'll just say well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the Audible listeners.

Book 1 Review

I had been thinking about how to describe this story and this is what I came up with. Take one part ego from Guardians of the Galaxy, on part snap from Infinity War, and then add cultivation with a video game element and you get a unique story set in a post-apocalyptic world complete with mutants in a game of life and death musical chairs. The writing was top notch, and the narration team did a fantastic job helping to bring the characters to life. I enjoyed the story and I recommend it to anybody reading this review. Well done to the team that helped bring this story to us, the audible listeners, and I can't wait to see what comes next.

A great addition to the Apoxalypse Core series!

World Core by Jack Porter continues the Apocalypse Core series in grand fashion. The MC continues to delight and the story is still unique and fun. I look forward to what Jack releases next! Audio Version: TJ McKenzie and Melanie Hastings do a good job with this title.
