About this listen

Develop my team, dive the dungeons, and don’t ever stop.

I’ve always wanted to conquer the Big 5 dungeons ever since one of them took the life of my father nearly fifteen years ago. Nobody ever said the Path of Progression was easy, but my burning desire to dive can’t be quenched. I just never thought I’d be prohibited from getting a diving license just because I tried to help a bratty blonde girl get hers.

Soon, we’re joined by a lovely brunette bookworm, and we start diving the dungeon on our own terms. As it turns out, I have a few abilities that greatly increase our chances of actually finishing the Path, leading to a life of fame and luxury. Others soon notice the power I’m building though, and they’ll do anything to stop us.

I will conquer the Path of Progression with the help of my stunning companions.

That is unless the dungeon, or my secret enemy, kills me first.

This story contains action/adventure sequences, stat sheets for the main characters, and some slice-of-life elements.

Great Character Development

I don't give a five-star all the way down do you worry often, but this work definitely deserves it. I thought the character development was excellent, and was drawn totally into the story. I have bought the second book in the series and believe me, it is worth it.

A solid dungeon diving story

A crisp story that does the dungeon and leveling up well. Not heavy on stats but enough to keep you in the story and the abilities are cool. Jeremy and his party have a difficult but good time coming together and fighting bosses. If you like dungeon stories this is a good one and the narration is clean with characters that have different voices.

Great storyline

Love the build up of the story. Great progression of the MC and his team. Really like the way MC treats his partners without degrading them or unneeded aggression or dominance

Weak

It just seems the writer was trying too hard to convince me that the MC is a hero. All noobs/trainees were told they workbench revived if they died during their test ( weak game magic but whatever) and the MC still decided to step in and interfere. Somehow MC team is the only noob team that was wiped, sorry but no that's immersion breaking. These are all college age kids who have no combat/dungeon experience whatsoever and many don't have full teams but Somehow the MC (who's a lvl 5 prodigy btw) sucks more than anyone. Then they make a ber with a rival steam for no reason. To me the author was in hurry to make a litrpg product because somerl reason that's what's being pushed today. Honestly, Dungeon Diving is FAR BETTER than this.

a promising start to a good series

overall I though that the book was pretty good and would definitely listen to the next. it was humorous and had lots of action but had good slice of life pacing. the characters were well written and the narrators did a great job. would recommend.

Grabs you from right the start!

Since I'm a big Marcus Sloss fan, figured this audiobook was a safe bet. I was right. The way this book starts out kinda grabs you and the book doesn't let you go from that point on. The dungeon fights were very well done. The way their competitive antagonist was handled during a dungeon run was not the normal trope and was greatly appreciated. That second dungeon was a real tough one. The surprise in the dungeon was truly unexpected and leaves a lot of question left to be answered. The narration was better than great and made this even more interesting and entertaining than the ebook (yes, I read it).

This is really worth reading and/or listening to, so grab either and enjoy.
