About this listen

As winemaker at Tangle Valley Vineyard, Madison LeGrange relies on science and logic to make the best vintage possible. It’s also how she manages her life. But with her career in its prime, her accountant thinks it’s time she diversifies her income. Not a problem because her favorite café, the Bacon and Biscuit, is up for sale. What she didn’t plan on was the time she’d spend with Clementine, who has her feeling anything but logical.

Clementine Monroe loves her job managing the Bacon and Biscuit Café. In fact, after escaping a difficult past, it’s all she has. When Clementine is offered the opportunity to step out from behind the counter and buy the place, her longtime dream is about to come true. That is until it’s snatched out from under her by the very same girl she crushed on in high school. Old habits are hard to break, but Clementine has no plans to forgive Madison anytime soon.

Book 3 was worth the wait

What a Tangled Web could be read as a stand alone, but I HIGHLY recommend reading Entangled and then Two to Tangle first. After the second book, I was unsure if Madison could redeem herself enough for me to root for her in book 3. She did! And she made me swoon! Love her and Clementine! Fantastic book!

Great.

I loved What a Tangled Web. It was great to learn more about Madison. Already loved Clementine from "The Biscuit". Don't get me started on Clem's father.

Third book a winner

I truly enjoyed the first two books in this series but this one took the biscuit. The main characters journey was so realistic and it was good to see the other characters from previous stories there to support them. There was sadness and joy in this story it made me quite emotional which is not that common an event with a book. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Tangled Valley, it's been a pleasure.

A wonderful conclusion to the stories of the Tangled Valley Winery. This one is just as engaging and fun as the first two, with more investment from a reader who already has love for Madison. Brayden does such a great job setting a scene without being overly cheesey or unrealistic. Her candor of internal thoughts for the characters really builds the reliability and I appreciate the imperfect perfection of the women she writes about...all have flaws, all have quirks, but the common theme of humanity, compassion, and self reflection I think mirrors reality in a way other writes don't always hit the mark on.
It's not surprising that Sternenberg once again makes this an easy listen. Man I would listen to her read the dictionary... I love me a good lesbian romance, but something about a select few favorite narrators (Sternenberg, Prince, Craden,) really wraps me into the story regardless of what I'm doing while listening.

I'll eagerly await the next Brayden/Sternenberg pairing!

Was OK

I think that the first book of this trilogy was the best, but I enjoyed the other two as well... this one had some parts that I skipped
Narration was excellent as usual.

Marvelous Series Finale

Madison LeGrange loves being the winemaker at Tangled Valley Winery. When her investment guy tells her she needs to diversify she looks for something meaningful to the town.

Clementine Monroe is manager of the Bacon and Biscuit and has been saying to buy it. She’s had a crush on Madison since high school but.vows to hate her forever when Madison buys the business out from under her.

A wonderful love story of love and struggle among the vines. Awesome series.

Great book great series!

Great book and great series! Melissa sure knows how to create great series and the books on them. This is one of my favorite. Madison and Clementine were great main characters. Very well developed with a lot of complexity thrown in. As usual, the supporting characters were great!

The narration was excellent! Well done!
