Publisher's summary

I’m the type of girl who’s given up on fairy tales. So when Beck – the hot new busboy at work - starts flirting with me, I know better than to get my hopes up. Happily ever afters aren’t for the average. I learned that the hard way.

But how can I be expected to resist a man who can quote Austen, loves making me laugh, and seems to be everything hot and good in this world?

Only there’s so much more to him than that.

Billionaire playboy? Check.

Troubled soul? Check.

The owner of my heart, the man I’ve moved halfway across the country to be with, who’s laying the world at my feet in order to convince me to never leave? Check. Check. Check.

But nobody does complicated like the one percent.

This is not your everyday rags-to-riches, knight-in-shining armor whisking the poor girl off her feet kind of story. No, this is much messier.

“[The] Rich Boy takes you on a literal ride! Funny. Angsty. There's mean rich people and people you root for. It's a definite recommend from me! (Tijan, New York Times best-selling author)

“[The] Rich Boy was witty, exciting and had the most intense slow burn romance I’ve read in a long time. The complexity of the characters was refreshing and made me wish for more!” (Audrey Carlan, number one New York Times best-selling author)

“I never knew how much I needed an adult fairy tale in my life until I finished reading The Rich Boy. I was sucked in to the sweet, fun, sexy, slow-burning romance blossoming between Beck and Alice and I didn’t want it to end.” (Bookgasms Book Blog)

“It is a slow-burn but once it’s there, it’s blazing THEIR CHEMISTRY IS INSANE from the banter, to jokes, to Beck quoting JANE AUSTIN and being the right kind of sarcastic well they both are, to alike-ness, GAH, I loved both the characters!” (The Guide to Romance Novels Reviews)

The Rich Boy has the perfect mix of romance and comedy. Kylie Scotts writing style just flows perfectly and she’s made a brilliantly entertaining rom-com.” (Blogging for the Love of Authors and Their Books)

“This was a slow burn that simmered until it became an all out FIRE! The chemistry was INTENSE. Beck was a great guy that knew how to romance his woman. It was impossible not to love him.” (Keri Loves Books)

Loved this one

I highly recommend this book by Kylie Scott, so far every book of this author that I have read has been good, so I expected to enjoy this one. Andi Arndt is phenomenal narrating both male and female parts.

the Ritch boy by Kylie Scott

a nice rise or fall romance challenge. some aspects had great heart and that is appreciated. the wrap up seemed a bit hurried in the story line it easily would have played out 1or 2 chapters longer to smooth the transition. overall a very good tale told and sold

Dont Believe The Bad Reviews

This was typical Kylie Scott: and by that I mean witty, sweet, and laugh out loud. I almost reluctantly listened to this as I was put off by the reviews that said it wasn't up to Kylie's standards. THAT IS FALSE!! It is a light-hearted read and funny with a sarcastic, strong female lead. Kylie does have a particular "voice" to her work and that's what appeals. This book is no different. If you are a fan of Kylie's, you will love it. Its definitely worth the credit. Andi Arndt as always does a fantastic job! By the way there is no cliffhanger.... I am almost wondering if the bad reviews are meant to sabotage??

Brilliant

Andi Arndt and Kylie Scott equals near perfection in another brilliant performance of a brilliant story. Kylie Scott creates immersive worlds, ones that Andi Arndt bring to life. I’ve loved all her books and this is a great addition to those other gems.

Good Read

I enjoyed this book but expected more from the ending. Kind of a letdown, was no twist or intrigue..

Not my favorite by Kylie

So I LOVE (LOVE LOVE) Kylie Scott. Teaming up with Andi Arndt makes it even better!!! I was very much looking forward to this book and it delivered for 95% of the story. No spoilers but I thought the conflict and resolution was a little hurried. It was all wrapped up in a neat little bow in the last 30 minutes of the book. More than once I looked at the time remaining and thought it had to be a mistake. It was a really good story and I would recommend it but just know going into it that it hurries the ending a little. I like these characters and would rather they have a better (read longer) ending to their story.

Pretty predictable but a light listen

Not at all realistic but at the same time a pleasant listen. Sadly, life doesn't really work that way.
