About this listen

Sleeping with the enemy has never been so complicated. Twenty-eight-year-old Brooklyn Campbell is having a bad day. A speeding ticket, a towed car, and a broken heel are all working against her laid-back vibe. To top it all off, her birth mother, whom she's never met, has requested contact. The only bright spot is an impromptu date with a beautiful and mysterious brunette. Jessica Lennox is what you would call a high-powered executive. She's the head of a multimillion-dollar advertising firm in New York City, and it didn't happen by accident. But when the blonde head turner from the wine bistro turns out to be her number one competitor, her life gets infinitely more complex.

Is New York big enough for both Brooklyn and Jessica? Maybe it's just time they experienced it together...

Great story

Well written, the characters were really easy to connect with. You will laugh ,cry and even feel a bit of anxiety. it deals with true fears and loss, and best if all love in its simplest form.
All books in the series are worth reading. I love them!
oh, and the narration is great.

A def above average story with good narration.

The moment when the author decided to paint the diary industry in the best kind of light was a def turn off and a huge disappointment. Those calves live only to please before they are killed.

Anyone who's seen the darker side would call it for what it is. I didn't expect to be faced with propaganda like this.

Good

Well if you read any of Melissa's books this is the first one and or Soho collection. Brooklynn story was fun and her and Jess make a good couple. But I must say the most fun is reading about the four friends. Hopefully Melissa will write another book about Mallory finding someone.

Narration as good as the story

Story was fun. Characters are interesting and their personalities varied and add to the story. And as someone who is trudging through another audiobook that might become the first one I ask for a refund for, I relished the narration.

Good story

The story was well done. The narrator did a nice job, though at times I couldn't tell the two main characters apart. I look forward to more stories by both.

Best rom-com ever

I love this book and these characters. they're spunky and cute and super dramatic. on top of that the narrator was absolutely perfect. It feels like these characters were written with this narrator in mind. her voices and tone just took a great book to a whole new and wonderful level. I especially love her teenager voice. I laughed and cried and bit my lip in anticipation. my only off moment was when the name of the bar changed half way through from showroom to showplace. but that was more interesting than anything.
