Halfway through, I just gave up. The narrator is great but the story is just meh. The character development was weak and the plot was similar to other books I’ve read.

I really had to drag through it, there wasn’t much for character development and it was really difficult to get through, it wasn’t a book that I couldn’t put down

I should’ve read the reviews before committing to this one. There is no character development and everything overall feels rushed. I was surprised to see this is one in a series of five — author should’ve spent more time on this book before moving to the next.

This book is shallow, unrealistic, and has no character development. Don't waste a credit on this one. A 4.5 overall rating is super generous. Lori Prince does a good job.
