About this listen

A virtual world filled with horrors. The real world is doubly so. A terrifying body count is rising.

Arthur Mallory is trapped in a heavenly prison, a virtual-reality game, forced to play as Korrash: a powerful elven mage. He’s desperately waiting on his friends and family in the real world to rescue him, but they don’t have the faintest idea where he actually is...or just how high the stakes truly are.

The answers are held by the OneiroSoft corporation: Arthur’s employer-turned-kidnapper. The game world, Nightfall, is consumed by change. Mana runs rampant, the formerly peaceful kingdom now a dangerous land filled with mighty Spirit Beasts, and ancient and powerful beings are free to twist humanity to meet their dark ends. His friends are dying, and his homeland is in ruins; Korrash knows he must act.

A quest points him toward the world’s salvation: the Resetti Stone. With its power, he can banish the darkness he unleashed upon the world and set everything right again. He’s sure of it.

The book was great I really dont know how I would feel if I was in worlds unbound. Having two people basically in your head space would be insane.
The ending was my favorite cliffhangers leave us wanting more Blackburn I think knows when its right to lead us to that cliff

Only thing I would like is when theres a change in perspective or place and the person who's "talking" changes I would want that in the details of the scenery change. sometimes I have trouble keepimg up where we are and who exactly Im following is

Another great book

this is an interesting continuation of the story. some parts head where you think and other in a direction you have no idea, which is always a nice surprise. still trying to figure out if this guy's suppose to be a hero or an anti hero lol but it's enjoyable none the less

I had a hard time with a lot of this book. The way characters were introduced kinda made it a little hard to follow at times. But the premise and plot had me keep going! A really awesome albeit dark story. The last couple hours of the book I found myself drawn in hard and not wanting to pause! I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue on with this series but the end sealed the deal and I have to know what's going to happen next.

love hate relationship

This series has been an enjoyable ride. It utilizes an unorthodox trope for its game world set up but that adds to the enjoyment. I like Arthur as the MC. The narration is very good.

Fun series

loved all 3 books so far but when Arthur died the story turned into crap with no redemption.

so close

The first book started with a good story then as it went on the story felt more and more scattered and all over the place. Seemed to loose continuity of the story jumping between too many characters with scattered stories

Lost interest
