Great story, terrible reader

What made the experience of listening to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz the most enjoyable?

Hearing the story again after finishing the Wicked series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Elphaba is the only choice.

Did Robin Field do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

No, he sounded like a little boy trying to be monotone like the former CEO of the New York Times.

very good for oz fans

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have watched the Wizard of Oz on tv every year for many many years and had never read the book, so I was so suprised to find the movie is very different from the book. I would recommend it to any one who is a fan of the Wizard of Oz or the Wicked series. The reading was done very well and easy to listen to.
