About this listen

Keeping his secret could expose her own...

Cavalier Cove, Cornwall, 1815

Adeline Naughton came to Cavalier Cove to escape her family’s wrath after a failed engagement. Her uncle pays the rent on a small cottage, and in return, expects her to spy on a community-wide smuggling operation.

In order to protect her precarious bit of safety, she needs to give her uncle something. When she corners a notorious French smuggler, she’s determined to turn him over. Her charming captive is equally—and annoyingly—determined to talk her out of it...

If you enjoy lighthearted, steamy Regency novellas with attack geese, naughty puns, and a happy ever after, read The Spinster's Secret Scoundrel! Part of the Cavalier Cove collection.

Good Virtual Narrator and Wonderful Story

Under 3 hours, this one is short and spicy sweet! A feisty gal and a French smuggler come together in this Napoleonic tale. Fun, witty, and steamy, it's what I love in my hist-roms. And the voice was great! Listen to this one!

Not Bad

Not bad. Short and good. I liked the beginning when the heroine had the upper hand.

pleasantly surprised

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. it's short, sweet and makes a great filler book while looking for my next series. It does have virtual voice which I usually hate but this one was actually pretty good. Obviously not the same quality as a human narrator but for virtual it was good

Dislike Virtual narrators

So dissatisfying to see virtual narrators. I tried to listen, but the monotone narration killed the story line.
