the boards clean

I'm a huge fan of romance and books. it doesn't have to be the focal point just so long as there's elements of it there. whenever you have two potential romance characters for the main hero and it is not a book in a specific genre, then one of them's got to go. the question is whether it will be the first lady or the second Lady and how the author is going to write them off. in my experience it tends to be the first Romance that the author kills so when that didn't happen in this series I was surprised. then the question was how was the author going to get rid of the extra romantic character. personally I hate it when they kill them off. I'm also not a fan of the messy break or what happened in this book. it definitely could have been harsher than it turned out to be and I'm thankful that it was not. this is the first series that I have listened to by this author and as such I don't know anything about him. he appears to be for the most part a good storyteller. there are some things that have happened throughout this series that just don't make sense. a new book will start and characters who were present or had the knowledge of what had happened in the last are suddenly in a scene acting as if they have no idea what happened before. then there have been a couple of incidents where the writer has the characters make decisions that absolutely make no sense whatsoever. to be clear I'm talking about how the author has written the characters and that considering how the author has written those characters why would they suddenly for lack of a better description act out of character. that is in essence partly what happened here with the second Romance character. at the end of the day it's a real question is as audience members have you been entertained and for me the answer is yes. I have indeed enjoyed books to through this one. lastly but certainly not least I have to applaud the awesome performance by the narrator. it is an audiobook after all and I would feel remiss if I did not call out the gentleman's good work.

Excellent again!

Avidly listening to the adventures of the Snow Panthers. I love Urvi’s writing style in that when you think it’s time for the book’s ending, he always adds a little more that adds to the overall story. Very good writing pattern. Regarding the characters: The bookworm is taking on a more mature identity that hints at his inherent and maybe future role. Viggo- the final bit at the end - proud and happy for you. Hahaha! Valeria, hope to see you strengthening the group in the future. Great potential. Nilsa and Ingrid (spelling maybe off on any of the character names) FANTASTIC work. Right place at the right time. So much intrigue and many revelations. Enjoyed this pivotal book in the adventures of the Snow Panthers.

Good But Hated One Of The Twists

One of the better books in many ways, however I couldn't help but dislike one of the twists. By dislike, I mean strongly dislike. It felt less like a meaningful, long awaited twist payoff and more like a means to end a love triangle. Especially, given that I bet more than one person wanted things to go the other route. Still, love triangles seems to go hand in hand with thus series so I'm sure we will see more arise.
