Kidnapped and held hostage after a bank robbery, college freshman Beth Farell falls in love with Glenn, a reluctant participant in the kidnapping. Great Action! Great Narration!
A highly engaging romantic suspense with some surprising twists and turns along the way. I appreciated the way the narrator distinguished each character with a unique and interesting voice, making it easy to keep track of the characters.

Interesting
The narrator did a superb job with the various characters and locations. Story was insightful and compelling. Good mix of mystery, romance and cops and robbers. Many surprises with emotional ups and downs. This review was written by Ron Wise.

crime and love
This was one heck of a wild ride. I don't think I'd have the courage these girls had, and I admired their bravery and fortitude. I was thinking Stockholm syndrome was at play here, but I was proven wrong in the end. The suspense and drama kept me listening. This was a real emotional rollercoaster of a read. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life. The voices and expressions brought depth to the story. I recommend this book.

Sometimes bad events work out for good
Beth, her friend Emily, and a stranger, Katherine, are taken as hostages during a bank robbery. The trio endured a trip into the wilderness to a remote cabin. Along the way, they meet the son of one of the thieves, Glen…he protects them throughout the ordeal. The story takes an unexpected twist when Beth and Glen develop feelings for each other. Can the pair have a relationship given the way that they met? Lots of action and clean romance. Great story.
Narration was on point! Def recommend and looking forward to the next book.
