Life Changing!

The narrator has an active voice and realistic stories to illustrate. The book lays out in a simple way the difference between aggressiveness, assertiveness, and passiveness. I am impressed how passive i have been most of my life and it's hurting my decision making abilities as a husband, father, and leader in the work place.

Short book, but very effective

This book exceeded my expectations.

I've hard poor luck with shorter duration audiobooks, but I found this book to be nearly nonstop packed with spot on advice. I do not do a good job of establishing boundaries, and I sometimes let people walk over me. This book provides concrete tips to reconsider a variety of situations and offers an alternative more assertive manner of representing myself and my interests.

If you are anything like me and know there are situations in which you should be more assertive, this book will help you to understand how to do that.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this honest review.
