About this listen

We're two strangers on a train, knowing whatever we decide in the next moment might dictate our fate for the rest of our lives.

My plan: find a finely dressed businessman, have a one-night stand, and forget about my failed relationship.

Like a bad joke, my ex walks into the bar. That's when a gorgeous man wearing street clothes, messy hair, and the sexiest smile I've ever seen lays a kiss on me. It's meant to rile up my ex but leaves me breathless and wanting more instead.

Then he's gone.

So, I do what any rational person would. I chase after him onto the subway and embark on a wild night in New York City with a complete stranger.

No matter how much I fight it, this mysterious man painted his soul onto my skin. If it's not meant to be, why can't I forget about him?

Contains mature themes.

Didn’t care for Harper’s voice.

Great story with a ton of depth and heart. I really enjoyed this one. Looking for my Tanner. Haha.

Loved Tanner’s story

I really liked all three books, Tanner’s story was the sweetest. However, the narrator’s portrayal of the Queens/Brooklyn/NYC accent really took away from Harper’s character. It made her sound childish and not that of a 30 yr old. I realize the setting is there but it was really a distraction.

Female reader should not try a NY accent anymore

Enjoyed Tanner’s story the most out of the three brothers. Austin is in second, big brother Bruce comes in third.
I always love the male voice- never heard a bad performance by him. But the female is awful with accents. She goes in and out of it, and thankfully that’s a good thing. If it were the whole story, I don’t think I would have finished listening to the book had she tried.
