About this listen

The start of Lee Burrows and I was a college girl’s biggest fantasy.

Campus’ most popular guy, the starting quarterback, the same guy I’ve crushed on forever, notices me—the quiet introvert.

Although, he never would’ve noticed me if he didn’t need my help passing our biology class. I didn’t think I had a chance with him until he started flirting with me and asking me questions like, “Who was the guy you were talking to?” and “Do you have a boyfriend?”

It took a few tutoring sessions before we ditched the library to “study” at Lee’s apartment.

It was a fantasy come true until I found out the truth and vowed that Lee Burrows would never get another chance with me again.

NOTE: This is the prequel to the Kingsmen Football Starts series. You do not have to listen to it to enjoy, You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows.

I really liked the Prequel

I really liked the Prequel and i love when Joe Arden Narrates. the one thing i will complain about is Lee went to Michigan at the beginning and the school colors are Blue and Yellow but later they say Michigan State. I know it is really picky but my husband is a huge Michigan fan and Michigan fans do not like Sparties I just wish they would have gotten those details right.

Cute & Heartbreaking First Chance

The college football star and the shy tutor. False Start is a cute prequel to launch the Kingsmen Football Stars series. I read book one first, so going back to Lee & Shayna’s meet-cute was fun.

Joe Arden and Callie Dalton are paired beautifully for this whirlwind prequel novella. They are perfectly matched it style, pace, and tone in this flirty, opposites attract, taboo romp.

Perfect Prequel

False Start is the prequel to the new Kingsman Football Stars Series and is narrated by Joe Arden and Callie Dalton. The writing duo of Piper Rayne and narrators did the perfect job setting us up for the start of the new series, giving us just enough to have us wanting more!!!!
False Start has us meeting Lee Burrows and Shayna in College and it’s where their journey begins……….
A quick Listen that left me excited for what’s to come in the Kingsman Football Stars Series.

A Teaser

This book led me to the next in the series, which is the reason I rate is a five start, eventhough the writer could have been more generous with the length of this book. Good narration, which usually so with Joe Arden. Calli Dalton, new to me, was also good.

Great prequel that sets up for the first book in a new series!

The narrators are great as this short, sweet, then sad tale got me ready for the full length novel You had your chance Lee Burrowes”

Has no idea the book was an hour long , thought it was an actual book

Dislike - it’s like a couple chapters . You have to pay for each chapter. Too expensive , wish I would have known that first .
