I made a deal with my brother a long time ago to never date his teammates.

Technically, Rowan Landry, the hot as hell center for the Chicago Falcons, is no longer my brother’s teammate. Or his best friend. Their college days are long behind them, and they barely talk now.

Of course I had to listen to this! This is one of the best audiobooks I have ever listened! And the cast, oh dear god! Rowan's voice, wow! And the story! And I lived all the easter eggs, like Easton Bailey, and Tweetie, and Henry and Jade! Wow! Now I have to go back to all the books! Which, let's face it, is not a hard task! Can't wait for the second book!!!!

Kyleigh & Rowan meet at a wedding. She knows him but keeps it a secret cause well, he was her brother's best friend in college. They have one hot night together. They run into each other and decide the chemistry is so hot they decide to have a no strings attached relationship.
This was such a fun read. I loved Kyleigh & Rowan. Kyleigh is dealing not only not telling Rowan who she is but she is dealing with a fallout with her mother. Rowan is so sweet and funny but he also has insecurities from his past with his father. Rayne did an amazing job with the relationship of these two. What started out as just hot sex turned into something more. It low on the angst but the development of these two was so sweet and fun to read and waiting to see how things will unravel when the truth comes out.
Also the secondary characters in the book are so funny and so well written. This is a great first book to a brand new series.
The audiobook was phenomenal. Sean Masters & Erin Mallon were perfect as Rowan & Kyleigh. They brought the humor and the banter and had great chemistry. Add Troy Duran, Teddy Hamilton, Connor Crais, JF Harding & CJ Bloom, this was the perfect casting for this book. They were all amazing as the secondary characters to the book.

This was my first Piper Rayne, and I am hooked. I will be going down a rabbit hole now. The story was terrific, and I can't wait to meet the rest of the guys in future books. The narrators (all of them) did such a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. I love a full-cast audiobook. They always bring more life to the story!

The dual narration between the MCs was absolutely amazing! And the audiobook also had a full supporting cast of narrators for such a fun experience! The fact that Piper Rayne has secured the voices from the rest of the series UPFRONT means we'll be hearing our fave guys and gals throughout the whole series and I CAN'T WAIT!!! I also love that they're able to go that extra bit and splice in the different voices throughout the chapters, regardless of the POV - if it's Leigh's POV but Rowan's speaking (or one of the side characters!) it's THAT voice actor’s voice. Absolute perfection!

Loved Ky/Leigh and Rowan! I usually don't care for the miscommunication trope but this one worked!

Leigh knows what she wants and GOES for it! Good girl! She's smart, strong, a go-getter.

Rowan, ugh! I just want to wrap that man up in a big ole hug! What a dreamy, swoony, HAWT hockey player!

I did feel the whole “Heartbreaker” piece didn't fit as well as it could have. Why was he a Heartbreaker? There's some hints to this but it's not clear or obvious. Minor point, but not a deal breaker. And overall, this is still an incredibly enjoyable story!

Can't wait for the rest of the series!!!!

Okay, but first… let me plead with you that if you are able to listen to this on audio… DO IT! it’s full cast narration and it’s everything!

But if you can’t listen, this book is Avery bit as good being eyeball read as well! I love this new series! I’m so hooked on the guys from the NEST and Rowan and Kyleigh started off this series the right way.

Kyleigh and Rowan’s meet cute was a ton of steamy fun, and I was hooked on them right away. It was meant to be one night, and then it turned into so much more. Only problem… he doesn’t know she is his teammate’s little sister.

This book was swoony, spicy in all the right places and Rowan was a top tier book boyfriend. I loved Kyleighs growth and journey throughout this book and was screaming when her actual identity came out!

The side characters added so much to this story and I need them all! This was a fun, quick read (listen) and I enjoyed every moment of it.

I think this is the beginning of another favorite hockey romance series, there's no such thing as too many favorites right? This is my first Piper Rayne book and it won't be my last!

Rowan and Kylie meet at a wedding and the sparks fly. They agree to a FWB situation but Kylie is keeping a secret, her older, overprotective brother was his best friend in college and they're about to become team mates again. What follows is a sweet and spicy story with great banter. Will her brother find out? Should she tell Rowan who she is? What the fallout going to be?

Excellent narrator casting with Erin Mallon as Kylie, Sean Masters as Rowan and additional characters voiced by Connor Crais, JF Harding, Troy Duran, Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom.

I was riveted and now I'm off to listen to the next 3 books, because I need everyone's story!

I was lucky enough to both read and listen to this story. That has become one of my favorite things. I can read at my leisure and listen when I have things I have to do. And the narrators did not disappoint. They were awesome and fit the characters so well. This audio has an ensemble cast, which I just love. If you've never heard an ensemble audio before, it is where instead of having one of the main characters change their voice to voice a secondary character, there is a separate narrator just for that character's voice.

Kyleigh is a designer and works alongside her mom, who owns a very well known wedding dress design company.
She attends the wedding of one of the brides whose dress they designed. She takes along her bestie Alara.

While they are sitting at their table, Alara spots a good looking guy at the bar and points him out to Kyleigh. Kyleigh's brother plays in the NHL and she recognizes him as a hockey player. She explains to Alara that she's not interested in dating a hockey player and that her brother has forbid her from dating any players because of the possible contention it could cause.

Alara encourages Kyleigh to go talk to him, saying it doesn't have to be more than a one night thing. Deciding that she could use the distraction after what she just found out today, Kyleigh goes for it. She doesn't tell Rowan who she really is.

But what happens when once turns into multiple times and no feelings develops into feelings?
When her brother is traded to Rowan's team and she's forced to tell the truth about who she really is, can Rowan forgive her? How will her brother react?
