About this listen

My rule is to never fall in love with a client.

His rule? To never fall in love at all.

I work at an elite matchmaking company. A failing one, to be honest.

We’re near bankruptcy when billionaire Anthony Winter invests.

It’s only business for him - he doesn’t believe in the company’s mission.

No, Anthony tells me true love is a lie and our clients are delusional.

He’s a cynic in a thousand-dollar suit. He’s also a challenge I can't resist.

We make a bet. I have three dates to prove our service works.

Three dates to set him up with the woman he never knew he needed.

He has no intention of finding one. I have no intention of being her.

But as we spend time together, I realise his cynicism is only a façade.

He’s a man hiding a painful secret. A man hurting.

And most definitely a man worthy of true love.

He saved my company.

Will he let me save him in return?

Saved by the Boss is a grumpy-sunshine office romance between a scowling blue-blood billionaire and an optimistic heroine determined to see the best in everyone. Guaranteed happily-ever-after!

This is the second book in the New York Billionaires series but can be listened to as a complete stand-alone!

Better than the first.

This story had a deeper storyline and I felt that the story and characters were more detailed. This is a great read.

Surprisingly lovely story

I was looking for a light hearted listen. I was surprised at how the story evolved into a story about this man’s struggle with a life changing diagnosis and what it took to live with it. Woven into a sweet love story. Just the kind of book I enjoy.

Saving Each Other ♥️🦮🦯💙

This was a good book about acceptance-accepting situations in life and embracing the good in it.

Summer and Anthony may not have been a perfect love match in the beginning, but by the end, it is hard to imagine one without the other. Letting go of life expectations can be hard, but so worth it when the good is seen and the person that is meant for you is found.

This was a good book!

The narrators do a good job, but there are weird, awkward pauses with the female narrator. I sped it up quite a bit to make it more enjoyable to listen to when she read, but still a good listen.

💜💜💜

This was a really good story with a slight tear jerker. I really enjoyed it just as much as the first book. The billionaire friends have now taken on a match making company. Of course the women in charge are determining to leave the personal one on one service while they want to move it into the digital world. Enter: the bet ... Between the main characters to try to find the male lead the perfect partner. They never expected to become more that boss and employee. Really hot but kind of sad.

very good story with narration blunders

The overall story is very good; it is an open door romance but not your typical boss/subordinate relationship and the on camera encounters are sweet and fairly high level. The relationship feels organic and not forced. Unfortunately, the audio was not my favorite; the male narrator blunders the pacing in several chapters. He is too fast and sometimes difficult to follow. There are also some weird drops in the audio with sound like problems with editing on both sides. The female lead is warm and brings the Summer to life in an endearing way.

Very enjoyable

I really enjoyed this story. It had humor, feeling & much emotion through his struggle. The love story was very real and the main characters had lots of depth. I am looking forward to the next story. The narrators did a great job, especially the male.

Cute

Cute story. Liked the characters
Similar to the others in the series.
Would be nice to have it be a high powered women … but you can’t have it all.
Also, the person who reads the male voice has a horrible female voice. Makes them sound like whiners.
But would recommend

Enjoy the Story, Narration is... Ok

Enjoyed the story. The narration was off - there are some editing mishaps and the female narration is so slow (I recommend speeding up, otherwise it's a bit unbearable).

Characters who actually communicate like adults

This is my second Olivia Hayle book and once again I appreciate the maturity of the FMC and MMC and their ability to communicate. Miscommunication is my least favorite trope and one that is used too often, but not in this story. As for the narration, the female narrator was great. The male narrator did a great job with the male voices, but his female voices were overdone and decreasing my rating a bit.
