About this listen

From Amazon & Barnes & Noble bestseller, Tana Jenkins's EMMA Award-Winning series...

Sydney St. James has a simple philosophy: life is better with animals, a good sea breeze, and the perfect pair of binoculars. As Mackinac Island’s quirkiest birdwatching tour guide and a math teacher known for hallway dance breaks, she’s built a life as colorful as the warblers she loves spotting. Her days are spent leading tourists through wooded trails, rescuing stray animals, and avoiding anything that remotely resembles heartbreak.

Then Devin Fox swoops back into town like a hawk in a designer suit.

Once her childhood best friend (and the boy who promised her the moon), Devin has traded their quiet island for the high-powered world of big-city finance. Now he's back with a plan that could ruffle every feather on the island—including Sydney’s.

She's determined to stop him. He's convinced she's being stubborn. But as long-buried feelings resurface and laughter turns to lingering glances, Sydney starts wondering if she's fighting to protect the island, or if she's just scared to take a leap?

Set against the enchanting shores of Mackinac Island, Sailing into the Heart is a heart-warming, second-chance romance filled with small-town charm, found family, and a love story that refuses to stay in the past.

Too cute!

This was a cute, quick read! Very light but sweet. Would love to read more of their story!

I think it would’ve read better with a little more human feeling instead of having a computer generated voice read the story. Some of that emotion doesn’t translate well when read by the computer.
